Dear Anna - I join all these voice and more to wish you a wonderful birthday. What an inspiration and lasting impact you have had on my life, the lives of the children I have cared for (including my own), and the countless other care providers and children whose lives you have touched. Thank you for the generous work and gifts you have shared with the world. Love, Vanessa Mitchell Kohlhaas

First! Thankyou Dr. Khazanov you are a succinct and caring speaker. Early childhood is such a vital time and as an Early childhood teacher, we do need to be aware and create a peaceful and respectful environment for our children .

Pikler developed her work in response to war orphans, meeting the needs of children without parents.

Actually her work developed before she opened the orphanage. She worked with many families in Budapest as a family pediatrician:)
