I babysat two lovely kids. This was in the late 80s. The parents would go to dinner, or a movie. They would always give me $20. The kids were very well behaved.

Classic TV and first of all that dinner looked delicious but you don’t drink milk with dinner and you drink water cold glass of water but boy you’ve got a lot of the sound effects just beautiful TV show I wasn’t born when the first episodes were aired in the early 70s, but I watched it as a kid in 1980 just classic

So much to like about this scene. Bobby didn’t want to fight….but he was ready to defend his little sister. He worked so hard to make sure he was ready to defend her when Buddy tried harassing her again. He showed wisdom beyond his years when he stopped Cindy from heckling Buddy (even though he deserved it) by reminding her how she felt.

I had that exact same recorder in 1979. This series was originally in the early 70s. I was only a two-year-old but I used to watch it every single day when I came home from school. It’s 1979 all the reruns and I had that table recorder and I had that little plug you put on a telephone and make crank calls.😂 Great memories

Seasons one and two were grounded in reality. Much better crafted than later seasons. Later seasons, had UFO's, Tiki Dolls, Cousin Oliver, Runaway Goats, Johhny Bravo......the list goes on.
