I know this is pretty old but I think newer hardware has made this harder. I tried all the things people have recommended and was unable to get any of these. I was running with the display settings set to 144hz and v-sync off. I went in and change that to 60hz and v-sync on (seems I needed to change both) and suddenly I was able to do exactly what's shown in this video. For me, it's basically press W (forward) to start moving but don't hold it. Then repeatedly press space (boost). While doing that, hold S (brake) continuously and alternate between A (left) and D (right).

Man back then AC had so many well animated badass counters that made you look like an actual accurately dangerous assassin. Like the enemies aren't walls or damage sponge and you player actually knows how to fight

good lord. This was an itemless run. My co-op peep and I could NOT do this bonus level, even WITH items. We decided, "hey, at least we made it through the story", and moved on.

for me the collectibles do not show on the map

The easiest way FOR PC PLAYERS: 1. Find light car 2. W > Space > A + S + Mouse Left Click No matter you use A or D. It can even work in one direction.

Many thanks for this! I found a method to speed this up even more! If you are replaying this stronghold (Blue Anchor Alley from the Progression Log menu), you spawn very close to the two lookouts. Sprint right in there and kill the first one (after he spots you, obviously), sprint right back to the other one and kill him. There is no need for stealth or for defeating any of the other enemies so it literally takes only seconds. Once you have taken the two lookouts down, let the remaining enemies kill you. This will put you right back at the start of the stronghold, which is much faster than quitting the stronghold replay and then launching it again (just one loading sequence instead of two).
