My first walkthrough was in survivor difficulty ..it made feel very vulnerable and if u can run just run . Probably wasn't a good idea but was it worth it ? Definitely and would do it again

Another quick tip for the tv station; if you’re on your first playthrough and don’t have explosive arrows yet, you can cheese the encounter by placing a trap mine at the doorway where the enemies spawn before going to find Leah. It usually kills all of them or all but one!

Sprinting, immediately prone jumping and repeating that will give you fast movement in stealth. You get the speed of the sprint while also getting the stealth of proning

Trap mines are great against the dogs as well

I get very emotionally consumed by fiction sometimes, so I avoid getting into new franchises. I'm an orphan just like Ellie and Abby, as well as know the pain of losing almost everything - so TLOU triggers me in ways most people can't understand. It was only after I watched the HBO show did I decide to check out the stories of the games. I've watched this video a few times in the past year, and had a few questions/comments about things that I wasn't super clear. 2:18 Do you think she feels betrayed simply because he lied about what happened for 2 years, or also because he saved her from being sacrified? I get that she feels her death is the only way her life would have mattered, but she has to realize that it would be pretty unfair and unreasonable to think he would actually just leave her to die after she tried so hard to get him to care about her. 3:30 Do you feel Ellie got that tatoo because of Joel's deceit? Or are you just saying that's a decision the writers made because they like being clever? I certainly would hate to think its the former. That would take the pain she feels toward Joel to a new level. 3:50 8:45 18:48 Do you feel Joel actually feels guilty of saving Ellie? I don't think so. As he says in the porch scene, he would do it again. Maybe he feels guilty about lying to her though. That I would agree with. Regardless of if he lost a daughter before, I think he would have made the same decision to save her. I would have. Although you say it a few times, I don't think him coming to terms with Sarah's death is all that relevant, other than he realizes how precious Ellie is and what he would do to protect her. 4:30 I really struggled with this part of the video. You don't think he atoned? He told Ellie the truth and then they were astranged for 2 years. That must have been the worst price for him to pay. Was it voluntary on his part, no. But its a kind of atonement. Should he have done something else in your opinion? He made efforts to save as many people as he could to make Ellie's sacrifie unnecessary. Other than him believing right until the end that it was better to save Ellie than humanity, I don't feel his flaw was still selfishness at the end. Stubbornness, maybe. I just didn't see selfishness in the few minutes we got with him in 2038. Coming to terms that he lied and prevent her meaningful death? Or are you going so far as to say that she wants to leave behind his memory as well as every tangible thing that reminds her of him (guitar, records, watch if that's somewhere in the study). I certainly hope the game and you are not implying the latter. Joel meant so much to her, and her to him, that I found it very upsetting even now that she left those things in the study. i love seeing how the pros play but personally i feel like the aggressive playstyle is a bit tryhardy for me it may not be the case but theres a diffrence form a lv 40 tryharding and a lv 200 in my experience but anyways keep up the helpfull videos :D
