I will say when I first started playing factions I would always play passive. Nowadays I try and be aggressive when the situation calls for it. Not going to lie I'm been wanting to reinstall this game 😊

Do it! It’s still a ton of fun, especially in private matches with friends. And you’re right, you don’t have to be aggressive 100% of the time, but it’s important to be able to do so without hesitation when the situation requires. 😉👍

Full auto and checkpoint are a great mix! Being aggressive with the FA mostly pays off with it, genuinely an underdog weapon. Plus just good positioning and awareness, are just healthy traits to have even with a "weak" gun. Great vid 👍

I’ve been revisiting the Full-Auto a lot lately and I feel it’s been misunderstood a bit. Without upgrades, it’s awful… easily the worst primary in the game (excluding the scoped abominations). However, once fully upgraded it’s actually very competent. I also think it does improve one’s overall abilities with frequent use as it’s less forgiving compared to the other primaries.

Not running covert ever makes me so much more confident. I used to back when I didn't really know how to play so my cousin told me to run covert and bomb expert because he said it's the best. I have learned...

When I first started I got yelled at a lot for sprinting and playing aggressively bc I was giving away our position. I quit playing for like 6 months and came back and EVERYONE was sprinting and playing aggressively. I prefer it that way. I hate coverts that camp out just to get you when you pass by. It's not playing.

I hear ya! I still occasionally get someone telling me to stop running (even though I’m not next to them and running AWAY from them their covert camping butt), and I do my best to explain that there are times we definitely want to run and get into better position near the enemies re-spawn location. I know others don’t like the aggressive play because they can’t keep up with it, and process the game at a slower pace. I understand that. The issue I have is if we all do the extreme covert camping strategy, then the game breaks down as no one will push out of cover… and more matches will go to time, which will eventually drive people away. For me the telltale sign of a chronic camper/covert player is how they handle a Last Person Standing situation… they often can’t take on multiple opponents quickly at all, which is why most aggressive players can perform decently under those circumstances because they’re used to taking on multiple opponents at once.

Thank you for saying that… my initial goal was definitely keeping it alive. Back on PS3 I noticed the player pool dwindling, and knew it was only a matter of time before the same happened to the PS4. Thankfully, I think we’re in a very healthy place now with a robust community and new players still joining each week. ☺️👍

Great vid Strats. GGs. Im soooo tired of extreme Covert campy matches to. Usually get random teammates doing the same thing tho so being agressive on your own or with one other teammate is tough. I hear ya, but it’s mostly why I’ll use self-sufficient loadout a where I can get health back from SS3 & FAT quickly. Yes, those matches are annoying as heck, but setting the tone early and making them scramble from boxes really helps with that. 😉👍

I do think that playing aggressively can be bad… I am one of those who tend to think that the higher the level or the skill, the less you should be using multiple weapons (no rifles nor purchasable weapons)… I think it was thanks to one of your videos that I started embracing Enforcer only loadouts with no rifles or purchased weapons and I haven’t looked back…

i love seeing how the pros play but personally i feel like the aggressive playstyle is a bit tryhardy for me it may not be the case but theres a diffrence form a lv 40 tryharding and a lv 200 in my experience but anyways keep up the helpfull videos :D

I literally only started playing factions to get the platinum, I’m good enough to get through it so far but I can honestly say I’m not even enjoying it, I’d just hate to not have the platinum before the servers eventually close 😪

Such a pain sometimes when in an entire lobby all have coverts and you're the only one playing aggressive. Its like you are the bait to start the gun fire 🤣 Hoping more players will disregard that skill for new players to enjoy themselves rather than scared to death in getting shived 😅

You're very welcome! I know a few popular content creators suggested new players use Covert Training "to survive" early on. Unfortunately, I could not disagree more... and feel players should develop their skills and learn from more experienced players who able to take opponents head-on, not just wait and shoot them in the back. Eventually the passive players will find themselves in a hectic situation and not know what to do. Just into the fire, get used to multiple opponents at once, and over time it'll become easier to dispatch each of them.

It really is, and having teammates willing to jump in when you do can make a huge difference! We denied our opponents so many boxes time & time again during this first match… they would’ve received pre-made bombs, pity parts, and like full molotovs… but because we intercepted them, the got nothing! ☺️👍

The thing is… it’s not call of duty and sometimes aggressive players end up forcing moderately good players to play way more campy - becuase they keep dying! You need certain skill level to play this aggressively

That simply doesnt work against experienced players, idk why ppl think this is like fortnite, like you can run constantly towrds your enemy, this mp is realistic Ive seen a lot of players run whenever they respawn not knowing enemies can be nearby Either you get killed in the second you respawn because you are sprinting or perform an awesome ambush against them by going stealth Besides all this doesnt matter anyways anymore when you see players using the crouch sprint and move extremely fast by being undtected You plan to be aggressive? Have in mind there are cheaters and dirty players

I'd say the majority of good experienced players play VERY aggressively, as they know when to run & push, especially early in the match. Fortnite is an odd comparison, vintage COD or Halo is more appropriate. Don't understand your last point... playing against cheaters is horrible no matter how you play, but honestly, playing passively against cheaters is 10x worse than playing aggressively, you're just a sitting duck at that point.

I remember the first time I used the semi auto rifle I got 15 downs and vowed never to use such a disgusting weapon again. Dont get me started on the tactical shotty The balance in this game makes it kinda trash. The revolver was too good to be free, making all the other pistols that cost parts (and started with an insulting amount of ammo) just a chore to use. Molotovs sucked with lag. I never saw anyone use the launcher weapon except one dude on youtube doing it for the meme. Almost every loadout had that covert perk where you couldn't be marked or seen in listen mode making one of the mechanics of the game (tracking enemies) redundant screwing over people with the marking and listening perks at a much higher point cost. The pump shotty had no ammo making it never used. Actually, half the ingame purchasable weapons not included with loadouts were either just as good as the permanent weapons or started out with no ammo making it a chore to get it into a useable state.

Well, you don’t technically have to be “Gud”, mostly just know where to go, get there as quickly as possible, and not waste time hitting boxes with one rag in them. Save the boxes when you need ammo & possibly health. ☺️👍

@@TLOUStrategist I love Lucky Break: gives a constant supply of stuff and always a Goal to hit all the boxes and keeps the gameplay basically the same all match, because you always have supplies for throwables and ammo... keeps the focus even in very campy, slow matches. But indeed: map awareness and knowing the location of the enemies is very important.

I love tlou. Still play to this day. I try not to be a try hard cause you know … new players vs a quick scope sniper isn’t fun lol but I’ve noticed there’s so many campers and wall shooters. I’ll be at my spawn and I get shot from across the map by a level 200. like cmonnn 😂😂
