I feel the same way, I have been training since 1993 and am still looking for teachers from whom I can learn different things. BTW: I have also read your book, so you are also one of my teachers 😉

@@ShkarSharif-KFZ Great. Many traditional martial artists avoid creating own forms/ set or practicing „freestyle“. But I believe that this is absolutely essential to really understanding your art and being able to work with it freely. Many people then believe that they are ruining their style by doing so.

Excellent form. I'm just wondering: How is the breath supposed to go? Exhale on impact? Mouth vs Nose? etc.

Different breathing methods at different levels of training. :-)

Sir is there any tip and trick, from thinking, imagining, into just being in foot.
@ShkarSharif-KFZАй бұрын
A good way to start is to listen to your foot. The same way you would listen for an external sound.

@@ShkarSharif-KFZ sir I am also putting attention while sleeping on bottom of feets, sometime after a while, feel like blood moving fast towards foot and striking towards base of foot, is it normal or I have to stop it.
@ShkarSharif-KFZАй бұрын
If you have a teacher - it’s best ask your teacher who knows you and can show you physically what it’s like to saturate your body with your attention.

Is there a similar method for the legs, or does the Dan Tien area and the arm flicking, feed down into the legs? Thank you 🙏
@ShkarSharif-KFZ2 ай бұрын
By the legs I presume you mean when kicking… when kicking, the vibration travels down only if you have correctly developed the stretch in the channels of the legs.

Not sure why this is a good takedown, at that range, I can't understand why your opponent wouldn't devastate you with elbows and knees, before you did anything.
@jadenng75694 ай бұрын
This is just a demonstration of technique. To successfully perform this takedown you would have to be much faster and more aggressive than how Mr. Sharif is demonstrating it. If you can get in close enough the ankle pick works (I have tried with resistance i.e. knees, elbows).
