The stickers thing is interesting. I once had a DX100 that I covered in cool stickers to cover a messed up case. Some guy from Germany offered me twice what it was worth on Reverb as he loved the look so much. It was well worth the fk about of sending it overseas.

What do you think about Model 12? Sound Quality? Functions? Etc.
@W6rr10r21 Жыл бұрын
Love it! Functionality is great, old school basic mixer, easy to get audio from hardware into the computer and vice versa making it quite future proof at the same time. Sound quality is good. Not something special, nor does it colour or boost the quality of the sound like an SSL Big Six, but good for sure. Thanks for the sub!

MPC500 Is Underrated
@W6rr10r21 Жыл бұрын
For sure! People always glorify the 60 and 3000, which the 500 basically is feature wise with some dope extra's.
@RoomAtTheTopStudio Жыл бұрын
@@W6rr10r21 For sure. The 500 is basically a 60 or 3000 in a portable form but with less pads, MIDI ports and outputs. The added effects that the classics don't have can really make the finished almost stand on a par with the classic machines.

Dawg that bassline was sick. The EQ was needed, I thought it was lame at first, it just sounded like 2 or 3 droning notes. Once you could hear the bassline better that shit actually rips

nice jamsss!! have you tried older mpc's? any ideas how the 2500 compares in terms of oldschoolness, sound etc?
@W6rr10r212 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Only worked on a 2kXL. It doesn't give that gritty 12bit sounds as the 60. It also hasn't that warm thick sound like the 3000. It just sounds good, transparent. The way you sample, process, mix and apply effects with this machine affects the sound more than the the converters spit out. So no oldschool sound, but you can definitely make it sound good for sure!

Nice one mate. The MPC 500 is a VERY powerful machine. Mine has some MPC Stuff Black Fat Pads and Black Data Wheel which gave the little fella a slight performance enhancement and a subtle aesthetic tweak.
