How do you avoid prematurely hitting the bottom ledge while squeegeeing? I’ve found no help on this. It always hits that and I keep having to readjust the angle to compensate.

So when your applicator runs dry would you place it back in the uncontaminated water to get it wet again thus contaminating the water or do you carry vasts amounts of clean water or applicators so you can carry this procedure out every time thus taking huge amounts of time and not being environmentally friendly? When you're holding the bottom of the pole near the top of the window (demonstrating your sevens technique), I have to wonder if you really needed a pole :)

Thank you for your videos. I’m doing everything as in the video, but I’m getting streak lines where I’ve pulled down on the squeegee. I’m using the moerman squeegee on a pole, could it be the angle I’ve got wrong on the squeegee? I’m at 0% angle Any help appreciated
@TradMan20 күн бұрын
Yes it could be the angle depending on how high the window is and how far back your standing. Try to ensure its just the edge of the rubber blade in contact with the window. Also ensure the rubber is straight in the channel, not bunched up. Also make sure your solution is good, ie a nice saturated washer with some detergent applied to the applicator 😉

Hey @TradMan, At 5:50 you talk about cutting in. Why is it important to cut in, instead of just starting the squeegi on the side corner of the surface?
@TradMan24 күн бұрын
Good question 😊 Cutting in at the start leaves no solution behind whereas putting your squeegee on the window and pulling accross / or down leaves solution behind which you would have to double back and squeegee off. Hopefully that makes sense. Warm regards TM 😎

I really love your videos, but it’s really frustrating watching you pole everything from the ground floor 😂when you could probably whiz round with an A-frame and I do wonder with this particular soap although I’ve never tried it and I have no intention of whether you just physically on your A-frame Applied the mop applied the squeegee whether it would be a lot more straightforward?
@BazzyPredPop24 күн бұрын
I’ve been using the red for awhile normally because you can buy in 36 inch strips and just cut it down to what you need I will check out the Green . You seen to Spent massive amount of money on kit.😮 but I noticed that you don’t seem to use a cleaning liquid like Unger number one ? Which I use all the time and will occasionally add a drop of fairy if I’m cleaning houses that se5a from heavy traffic film with or diesel train staining.

To design a bucket, even with your own squeegee that damages the rubber is an absolute file as far as I’m concerned

Is Moerman suitable for linear glass cleaning? I bought it to clean my own home, not to run a business and make money. My skills are not as good as yours. I will place an order in a few days and buy several sets from the UK and send them to Taiwan for my own use. I will also give them to friends. I'm worried that Moerman is not suitable for beginners~Thank you

The moerman tool is more intended for professional use. For you I would recommend a Unger ergotec squeegee as its more user friendly 😉

Hi what do you reckon is the best way to squeegee round an expelair in a kitchen or bathroom window when there's less than 6 inch from the top of the expelair to the top edge of the glass to try and avoid leaving lines 🤔
@TradMan27 күн бұрын
You could wet it up a bit with your cleaning solution then polish with a good glass microfibre cloth. That's the easiest way. You can squeege round it but that is a bit tricky for most. Hope that helps

How about in 100+ degrees Fahrenheit? Would you still recommend unger green or something else?

I never try it myself, but I have heard from people like SteveO the window cleaner say that this rubber when it just come out was great, now not so much. Anyone with experience can conform this? I live in Florida USA here is very hot most of the year and water its hard water lots of minerals and calcium on our water!

@@TradMan this might sound silly but does the likes of moerman t bar and squeezee fit into the unger belt, or is each brand just made for its own tools.
@TradMan29 күн бұрын
@fergus.. yeah moerman tools fit in unger bucket on belts. The only tools that struggle to fit in some buckets are tools like the unger ninja as it's a chunky squeegee, I like the ninja squeegees and use either a unger ninja bucket on a belt or the samurai bucket on a belt works well.
