Thats is correct. On specific keywords those 2 do make sense and can be insightful to know if the CTR is good or needs some rework (meta title and description affect that), same goes for Average Position which is tracking ranking per keyword or page.

Been looking at launching a new branded authority website soon and have been going back and forth between WordPress and something else. With WordPress I can quickly build a website that looks amazing, but i don't want all the bloat. And now you post this and I am even more down on WordPress. Can we just get rid of these useless pages on WordPress? Getting AI to build a great looking site is a challenge. Especially one with a blog, LMS, etc. Looking forward to learning more from you on which direction things are headed. Thanks for your videos.

Can you not just add noindex or canicol for those useless pages?
@arisioannou56462 сағат бұрын
It also doesn’t make any sense to look at the number of impressions in isolation. Your goal is to rank on google. ranking on google means being on the first page and ideally top 3. If you generate millions of pages that are indexed by google of course you are going to have high impressions, but if they are on the page 10 and remain there.. is like they don’t exists Certainly your pages will rank for many keywords that will eventually drop your CTR. And here yes, it doesn’t make sense to look at CTR. Same applies for Impressions. Doesn’t make sense to look for site wide impressions. All metrics must be looked in relation to your target keywords… From all these metrics the only one that matters (site-wide) is clicks… and again this one is questionable as they have to be clicks that are aligned with keyword/user intent

One good idea maybe is generate blog posts from user comments for specific topic on youtube, instagram, twitter etc, something like summarize comments.

For sure you want to be helping Google as much as you can. Look up crawl budget, especially if you are doing multi lang with e-commerce fragments. Tons of pages. Lots of budget needed so don't ask Google to crawl dead wood.

Dumb Question for you : Does it mean a react, SEO optimized Online store on a fresh domain could outrank shopyfy competitor ? what about shopify domain authority ? What's your opinion on that ?
@northloo16 сағат бұрын
For ecommerce the only way to outrank a successful* shopify store is to have better marketing and a well built application SEO doesnt matter at all in this scenario. I would never recommend unless you are a seasoned engineer or have lots of money to pay for one. Web apps for ecommerce are no joke dude im a full stack dev with 4 years of experience self taught and 3 years of education in college and i try to stay away from it. Just use shopify bro. Or risk wasting insane amounts of time, money and effort even with ai coders, especially with ai coders in fact lmao.

How do we remove these useless pages?
@Incomestreamsurfers17 сағат бұрын
You can't AFAIK but happy to be proven incorrect. I believe the correct stragegy would be to robots.txt them
@filemorf16 сағат бұрын
@incomestreamsurfers Yeah, I was wondering the same. Could they be removed manually or will Google figure out they no longer exist due to structure change. Robots.txt seems like it might be a way to tell Google that the pages they already indexed or previously seen a back link too no longer exists. I agree with you that it is very likely that the ratio of index vs unwinded pages matters a lot. User-agent: * Disallow: *.atom$ If true, this should remove the page you have no control over. Though, I wonder how long it will take. Please let us know if you test it.
@christophelourenco919318 сағат бұрын
I agree with your theory About the Shopify .atom pages, it's clearly ridiculous and I reckon the only way to prevent them from being sent to Google is to add a regex to the robots.txt file, using an app

Hi, I have been trying to buy subscription, but stripe never send the email or whoever do the bridge, I wanted to use the 33% discount annual subscription and I couldn't, I sent an email like 4 days ago via harbor h website I have had no response, today I created a new account but the same thing I don't receive the email to generate the subscription or however the system is.

I would agree more if dynamically would mean it fetches different data each time - meaning the crawler has fresh info each time. But when you use a solid cache the info as always the same and there is no API call to third parties which means it is not different from a “static page” (which are not really static) - or am I missing something?

You said we could buy Harbor at half price, but you're just letting the sale be on a 1 month option? Not even anual, much less the higher version? You need some business and basic pricing skills man. Otherwise, nobody is going to buy your product. With more sales, you'll have liquidity to invest in your product. It's still on development mode. Jeez... Way to throw away your potential customers willing to take a chance on you. Or are you afraid to sell anual subscriptions because you're not sure your product will be still in the market? Get some real business advice from business experts.

Sorry if this is already been asked. But do these databases update themselves? Such as your Walmart one like if a product goes out of stock or if a new one is listed
@BlueJDev23 сағат бұрын
Yes the API information will be updated internally on the Walmart servers regularly, however if you are taking the API data and storing it in your own database or csv you would need to re run the API request and have a function within your app (or API calling script) that could update the products you have stored in your database. The app would need to use something like the Walmart item id field to match against to avoid duplicate entries and old data etc

As a WordPress website owner I think that WordPress takes longer to get indexed because of all the junk files WordPress makes. Where a programmatic built with a coded website is a straight forward thing for the bots to crawl and understand. I don't think it has to do with dynamic or static.
@IncomestreamsurfersКүн бұрын
Good theory I also think this is a contributing factor as it would affect what they call your quality content score which is an algorithm
@trevorpowell4851Күн бұрын
I don't have any way to prove it so you are very right to call it a theory but if you have ever had to delve into the workings or WordPress it is a very messy system. I would wager it is a larger contributor than you would think. I personally would love to see any data you could actually come up with to prove my theory. Because I guarantee that coding the sites from scratch if far easier for the bots to crawl and understand.

@BlueJDevКүн бұрын
I've seen this question soooo much! You would use the standard ways, ads, affiliates, an online shop, offer courses, referrals, and / or partnerships/sponsors. You can become an affiliate for most products and services, there's clickbank, or I think Hamish uses impact, you can apply to programs like Google ads or other ads platforms, if it's a directory, like Hamish has done with Ireland businesses you could offer the business to become sponsored(so banners or top of the list/preferential treatment), or you could offer them referrals from customers looking for their businesses for a cost (30 per lead etc). You could even technically offer back links for a price, although link farms are quite regularly penalised if not done right.

@BlueJDev19 сағат бұрын
@@Kotolink np,.. yh don't see why not, you would need a payment provider like PayPal though, Or a merchant account with a gateway or payment API. Just provide Cline with some of the important parts of the docs and see what happens, then adjust accordingly, and use the payment providers sandbox for testing. Many of them use JSON web tokens which the AI should be able to build something to manage them quite easily.
