Will be following your progress closely..not long had the avata 2 and awaiting delivery of the fpv controller 3 on Monday. In the meantime Ive armoured the avata 2 with gimbal and propeller guard bumpers in the anticipation of likely crashes whilst getting used to the new controller!😂

🤣😂 I’ve literally got those items saved on safari, but I wasn’t sure how much weight they’d add, and if it would cut the flight time!? So I didn’t order them. I was also thinking about getting ND filters to protect the camera, but they are pricey for what they are. So it’s currently unprotected. But I’ve had 2 crashes so far, and tbh it’s held up fine. Don’t even think there’s a scratch. But I was also only flying about 20cm off the floor in my garden lol.

@@FPV_OE pi I bought them after my first two indoor flights lol..the two knocks I had encouraged me to get them before I took it outside. Yeah I’ve filters on order too and they are pricey but will make the difference on a bright day

Haha maybe I should order the ND filters atleast as a double function. Because I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to the camera settings, just leaving it in auto and hoping for the best 😅.

Just got my Avata 2 and my C3 is out for delivery as I write this lol… Plan on using it for SIM first to get the muscle memory before I fly. Good luck with your journey 👊🏾

I got hte avata 1 on launch, and just recently got the Avata 2. Had always flown with the motion controller. Just got the FPV Controller 3 a week ago and am learning M mode now. It's difficult, but very satisfying when you get it right!

Yeah I’m looking forward to making the switch. Fully expecting a few crashes along the way though lol. Did you start flying with the FPV 3 in normal and sport first? Or dive straight into full manual?

I've been flying my NEO FPV with the N3 goggs and Motion 3 and its great.... I've also been practising with the RC3 on the SIM's on PC.... Wow! Fun as it is, it's a whole new world to master.

You'll love the RC2 or 3 or whatever controller you get. These DJI drones are a heap of fun to fly around like your some kind of bird. It's a very freeing feeling

I use the motion controller every so often. I don't really use the other modes that the motion controller has except the default. They are for the most part more of a gimmick option. Just turning that off you have the default of still using the small stick to guide it to the left, right, up and down. It is pretty nice to have when you just want to move your drone in those directions where you can fly to your left or right and keep focus on what is in front of you and doing a straight up or down option is far more useful. If you get the Controller 3 and you want to learn manual mode. Please spend some time in a simulator like LiftOff. You can get a very simple Radio Master controller for around $65 bucks US. I don't know what the cost is in different countries, but it is a very affordable controller and on those rainy days the simulator can be fun to fly and practice with. It really has a learning curve and it will be hard for a while till you learn how to do it, but it is so worth it when you get good. When I use the Controller 3 I pretty much use manual mode. The great part is with that controller and to get yourself in the habit of knowing where that stop button is so if you get nervous and lose control you can pretty that button on the side of your controller and it will take you out of manual mode and back into Normal Mode also quickly stopping the drone and hopefully avoiding a crash. I am glad you're having fun with it. You did well for your 1st flight and looks like you had a lot of fun flying it.

Gwarn g! Slow motion better than no motion - keep it up and get you the DJI RC3 to really get that genuine FPV experience. Expensive place to start for me personally, hence why I started on the simulators and have recently purchased a tiny whoop. Subscribed!

Welcome to FPV bro. I'd suggest you to get the DJI RC for that drone since the MC is not the best options out there.
