In this video, I take my DJI Avata 2 for its very first flight! It’s a bit of rambling and wobbly flying combined with testing out the Avata 2 Easy ACRO mode.

You'll love the RC2 or 3 or whatever controller you get. These DJI drones are a heap of fun to fly around like your some kind of bird. It's a very freeing feeling

Gwarn g! Slow motion better than no motion - keep it up and get you the DJI RC3 to really get that genuine FPV experience. Expensive place to start for me personally, hence why I started on the simulators and have recently purchased a tiny whoop. Subscribed!

5:25 , who ever said to you that the drone is slow because were in the uk is wrong, mines full speed in the uk and ive had mine 4months+. the RC motion3 is half the speed of the Fpv3 controller

In Europe the speed is limited because we use CE mode or something I believe. Whereas in America for instance they have FCC mode. So although it’s much faster with FPV 3 than the RC3, it can actually go even faster than that if it was in FCC mode. There’s a hack you can do I believe to allow you to use FCC mode here, I intend to try it one day…. Way down the line 😅. Edit: Just googled it to make sure im not talking nonsense lol. DJI website says it’s limited to 19m/s in EU in manual mode, as opposed to 27m/s. Not sure what that is in mph, but defo limited.

@ I am in the uk and my avat2 goes 27m/s which is 60mph, it’s the RC3 that’s limited to 35mph and we ain’t in the Eu so it doesn’t apply to us, just letting you know we ain’t limited to 19m/s :)

@ no problem man, I was doing the same till I watched someone’s video saying we don’t have to do it haha. Honestly, you’ll have a blast with the remote but i recommend using a simulator first 😁

I wish I could, but I’ve only got a work laptop 😅. So I’m going to learn from the get go with the drone because no way I’ll be able to load a simulator onto it. Part of the reason I got the DJI refresh lol.

Depends what package you go for tbh. There’s defo cheaper options, but they aren’t as beginner friendly lol.
