I fell in love with the Black Hawk Waltz 10 years ago when I heard it played by an accordion duet, and I still enjoy listening to it. I happened to hear a channel introducing piano pieces, and the melody is sweet and resonates deeply. It is especially nice to listen to because the same phrases are played with different techniques. I was very surprised to see comments saying that their grandmothers or mothers used to play it a long time ago. - From Korea

Maybe my favorite waltz played aboard the Titanic, though I have listened to most of- if not all of the Titanic songbook, this one stood out the most. I’ve been interested in the story of the RMS. Titanic practically my whole life, I’ve also played piano for several years myself although I can’t say I’m good at all, I am beyond happy to hear this waltz arranged for piano!

I sure wish I could play piano like this! Three years into lessons and I can hardly play Mary Had A Little Lamb! Great performance, Felix Godin really had a unique style in his music, they all sound similar yet wildly different. This one sounded very similar to Valse Septembre.

My now sister in law played this many years ago….I was a few years younger…great memory.
