Learned to single ski behind a '92 prostar 190 on Lake Tahoe. Nothing better than a beautiful lake, a summer day, and a legendary boat.

Thanks Marcus! Cool boat! Your video hit home with me literary! I’m blessed to live on a lake in E. Wa. and have good friends to ski glass with every day in the shadow of Mt Spokane that feeds the lake…! I’ve said those exact words ski it all winter then ski it all summer…till November! Your welcome to join our ski community ANYTIME!!

My wife and I regularly free ski and occasionally course our 82 S&S. It’s our only boat. Pretty simple. Good wake, pulls well. We enjoy it.

Dude, yes. I also own the boat I learned to ski behind and drive, a 1984 Ski Nautique 2001. We got it when I was 9 years old and it’s been in the family the whole time.

I grew up in Florida skiing every weekend. I have skied with Sammy and Camile Duval, Mike Siepel (pro-Barefooter), Andy Maple, etc. This video was so much FUN to watch and brought back so many memories. Thanks for this amazing video!

Man, this was so good. I grew up spending summers at Beaver Lake in Arkansas with my family and friends. It's where I learned to ski the slalom course on my HO Mach 1, learned to barefoot, and do a barrel roll on my HO Edge 720 kneeboard. We had all the time in the world to ski, rest, eat, ski again, etc. It was amazing. Thanks for bringing back these memories, Marcus

This the kind of skiing i do as much as i can. Come a couple hundred more miles north and ski with me. We have several lakes that are similar. My biggest problem is finding someone to ski with. Every one just wants on the surf boat. But when you can get a couple of people to go out and ski with early morning or late evening on a mountain lake in an old ski boat…..nothing better.
@FlowPoint10 күн бұрын
Absolutely nothing better than that. What lake are you on?

@@FlowPoint we ride several. Not probably as pretty as the one in Jackson but Hebgen lake is a great early morning lake. Gates of the mountains is another cool place.

Heritage and History. This sport has a lot of it…unfortunately it’s hard to get money behind projects that highlight waterskiing’s beautiful and colorful 100+ year story. Thankful that HO Skis believed in telling important stories for the past decade,…and hoping to continue doing the same on this channel for years to come!

Prior to Rob winning at Lake 38 last weekend there had been 37 men's slalom events on the Waterski Pro Tour since it started in 2021, all won by either Nate Smith (21), Freddie Winter (8), Will Asher (5), or Thomas Degasperi (3). These four also won every single pro event, Pro Tour or non-Pro Tour, between August 2020 (Odvarko - Stillwaters Pro) and May 2024 (McCormick - Masters)

I ski on a 67 Ho Omni. 175pds 5'8". 30-33mph 15 off. I feel like a 66 would be ideal but they only make a 65 or 67. Would it be a lot different to go down to a 65?
