Watched the movie and found it compelling and clearly anti-fascist, but I was lacking the background and finer details. Such an amazing video, which cements Jin-roh's importance for me. Thank you so much for that.

Cartoons not being funny is like an actor not being able to act. Which ironically is now happening a lot recently.

The 2000s is an explosion of mature experimental original anime that usually ranged from 13-26 episodes. The late 90s post Eva boom bleeds into here

saw it recently (before the video) it's a shame to call this isekai since it is actually fun and has none of the isekai problems it's cheap and makes no sense with it's bonkers world that on top of already being wack gets weirder because of fusion with our world. the dumb is more than servicable, it is great. voice acting is top notch and unless you mentioned it I would have guessed most jokes are merely localised versions of what'sin the show with how bonkers the whole thing is.

This has got to be the most annoying time period of these cartoons. Everyone one of them I found annoying and could only think please make it stop. Or maybe you just chose the absolute most annoying clips you could find.

Project A-ko was at the time when anime slowly got into the mainstream West. This is one of the most amazingly animated one with crazy characters and ofcourse the hilarious parody with even a double parody on the Macross Budweiser missile lol. Ofcourse the female Hokuto no Ken. Still Ako 2 was pretty on par.

I watched this fansubbed when I was in college in the mid 90s. Good show.... until the last episode. They clearly ran out of money before they could finish it properly. It's rather depressing to see.

The Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoons we watched on Saturday mornings turned us on, as kids, to classical and jazz music, opera, pop culture of those times, Hollywood, movie stars, satire, alternate funny versions of fairy tales and so much more that shaped both my child/adulthood . Now our 6 year son is hooked on Bugs Bunny & Co.😄🐰😆

Im from Malaysia. We got anime really early here compared to the west. The early Transformers anime was also released here and we also got the original US series. So for a lot of asia, their love for Transformers were both equally nurtured by americans and japanese.

The series was mid until the final race when Akari imagines she's racing with her mother and she has the epiphany. Until that moment all she really wanted was to run alongside her (since she died when Akari was so young and she missed out on so much), then she realizes that's what's been holding her back. She needs to run *past* her mother to succeed, and does, letting go of the past and finally able to go into the future.

Fun trivia! Thanks to my brother for bringing this up. That ending with Taz raging and pointing and razzing, Jim Cummings who voiced Taz actually auditioned for Taz using that clip! He got the part and now that's what you hear at the end of the intro! Magical!

I don't care about Transformers in the slightest, but I watched the video with a smile on my face. Mr Kaiser, you have such a talent for sucking me into any anime you talk about. This channel of yours is in my Top 10 on the subscription list, among the greats of RedLetterMedia, GoodBadFlicks or Watch It For Days. I'm so bummed out that your sub count is so low compared to some trash anime channels, but I am also at awe that you carry on. Please, please keep it up. I love your vids! All the best from a tiny fan from Poland!

WTAF Channel 29 Philadelphia represent. That was MY transformers growing up. And I'm glad that their promo was included in the video as it highlighted that they were a weekday cartoon and not Saturday Morning like the naration script says. It's an important distinction, because weekday cartoons got more story per season. Of course, once a Saturday Morning Cartoon had enough seasons under its belt, it could get repackaged for syndication as a weekday cartoon, but even then their young audience knew those were reruns. Which made it all the more mind blowing that The Real Ghostbusters got both a weekday and Saturday Morning run with different episodes at the same time.
@Launchpad0510 күн бұрын
'The Real Ghostbusters' got A 13 episode season on ABC, then Got A 65 episode second season in syndication. Also, I'm from western Pennsylvania, and in my area, 'Transformers' aired in WPGH 53 in Pittsburgh. However, I've seen WTAF 29 videos on KZbin.
