@@Qulfh yah I noticed my hood would touch but it would still close, you may need to trim part of the lower half of the air filter housing

Pretty good video but you kind of skimmed over the size of the bolts for the harmonic puller and how you actually fitted it in there without hitting the frame

I bought some weatherstrip adhesive, filled the weatherstrip with it, wasn’t shy with the amount I put in it either lol but you can find it at most auto parts stores, I personally had went to Oreilly’s. It’s about $10 for a tube of it..

That’s what the part is called from the factory box. “Airbag (Control) Module” would be a different part.

I was driving my 02 park Avenue and it was running fine. Then out of no where it couldn’t get above 55 and 2k rpms and started overheating. Pulled over and it shut off before I could get to a parking lot. It would restart but need pedal feathering while starting and running to get it going. Got it towed home and parked it. And now it will not restart. No coolant in the oil and vice versa but a small amount of white smoke comes out the exhaust. I’ve replace coil packs but still no start. It will crank and try’s to start but just can’t. It try’s but can’t get all the way started. Talked to a 3.8 guy and he said it might be my intake gaskets and it was loose in the back. I tighten it and still no start. The cooling system is all basically mud but it had been running fine.

I have not. My 99 Grand Prix did something similar and it was coils and then another time the vacuum line on the fuel regulator. This is a video of it trying to start about a month after it’s shut off kzbin.infoQKEVLlbVKOs?feature=share

@@MrJayMoney bad coils definitely are common problem on 3800s I had a regal and the coils went bad, bought some auto zone ones and swapped em not even a month later they failed, pulled some from the junkyard and the car ran for 2 years lol

I’m not 100% sure but I would believe so, they fall under the same generation and are only apart one year so I’d assume it’s same setup
