Agreed! love her recent stuff, but her old music is top tier. And this music video sums up her personality and creativity. Wish she would do some music that is similar to her first 4 albums

Her first albums may be less polished and less American but they are quite raw and real with autobiographical lyrics and a vulnerability and often hilarity to her songs and visuals. Her shows were intimate and I remember chatting to her often on her official message board forum! She was so humble and adored connecting with her fans back in the day when she wasn’t huge. I hate to say it, but writing songs for other people, and living in America, had pretty much erased the person she was before. Not sure if she’ll ever be able to make an album as brilliant as Colour The Small One again.

@@seekingsolace I was too young to be a fan when she was just starting out, so only recently started listening to her older stuff. And I was shocked over how different it is to her newer stuff - even her voice has completely changed. There's no doubt that all of her music shows her talent, but I'd rather listen to her old stuff, over her new stuff. I think the reason she made such a big change was because she was reaching a new audience, so made her lyrics more generalised so more people can relate. I think I remember her saying that in an interview. I guess it kinda fits though, because she does want to be a somewhat private person, so making the songs not necessarily about her makes sense. But I feel she is trying to fit in too much, thats why I love her old stuff - it was not like others. But now it's very pop, American type music.

Is this actually an official video or AI generated. One of my favorite songs she does. I really love some of the less mainstream stuff even though the mainstream stuff is great too and. I was a little scared for her a few times but even with her face in all kinds of contortions she was still captivating and on my list of people I would love to run into and fall madly in love with each other. I mean maybe if our planes crash into each other and we both end up as lone survivors on a desert island no tropical island.
