...you do understand that Broadway is in New York City? ...and that most people don't live in New York City? ...and that most people don't have extra hundreds of dollars to fly to New York City then pay hundreds of dollars to see Wicked then pay hundreds of dollars for a hotel room then fly back home? Also do you realize how many books there are in the world? Too many to read, that's for sure. Even if you could speed read 50 books a day everyday you'd never get through the A section let alone to the W section where Wicked would be. Do you now see how ridiculous it is to assume most people have had the opportunity to read the book or see the stage show?

with the robe that Glinda put on at the beginning of what is this feeling, It looks like the triangular piece at the top of the back above the ruffles may be satin, which could be intentionally there to protect her hair? just a theory

Oh this was fun to watch. If I could only choose one I would take home Elphie's first outfit (love pinafores and those sleeves aaah), including that gorgeous coat and the boots. Another favourite is Glinda's ozdust dress, amazing! And shout out to little Elphie and Nessa at the beginning, their outfits were very cute and very them. I also loved the sweaters/jumpers that the Animals were wearing before "something bad".

It's like how medieval people would make their own books (or have books made for them) with the stories they like.

Wow looks really cool. I want to get into bookbinding too but for making custom sketchbooks possibly. Leather gives it such a great aesthetic
@somelucifrostguy9208Ай бұрын
I got a long-term thing I wanna bind myself once I finish it. Although I haven't found many fics that have given me the urge to bind them. What I seek fanworks of is oftentimes so niche and specific, there's hardly anything there. Even so, I'll admit to being a stranger to these lands, given I wasn't much of a fanfic reader till recently.
@ChociewitkaАй бұрын
What happens when the original work's copyright expires shortly? - As then the fanfic-author might wish to publish his/her fanfiction him/-herself once this happens, binding could potentially infringe on the fanfic-author's copyright?
@artbylgoАй бұрын
@@Chociewitka yes, because it is still the fanfic author’s intellectual property despite the source material being non copyright
@ChociewitkaАй бұрын
@@artbylgo indeed so I do think binding fanfiction that could soon be published is problematic if the fanfic author does not o.k. it
@cristinajadimartins2652Ай бұрын
@@Chociewitka I am not a lawyer, but I am an author and generally speaking no author is going to knock at your door to sue you because you bound 1 singular unit of a work that you've acquired legally and you didn't even sell and it's like for yourself. Authors do have to take precautions against illegal copies of their work, so like if we let it be common practice for any store at any corner to xerox a whole book that could be bad for us legally. Just use common sense and don't open a store where you sell bootleg bound versions of a book you've bought the PDF of once in someone's patreon and it won't run fanbiding for everybody.

As someone obsessed with dresses from 1865, and by extension the 1800's, this fusion of modern influences fascinates me. Especially it being non cottage core, non magical fantasy, stuff. I think at least. I'm not familiar with the other influence you have. Anyway, great job! The dress is great, and so is the video!
