What is salvation? Salvation is the free gift of eternal life that is made possible only through Jesus Christ. John 3:16-17 KJV states, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 6:23 KJV, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Salvation is not limited to any denomination, race, gender, or age, but it is available for everyone. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 KJV).

Grace was never the ability to keep Gods Law. It is UNMERITED favor, that we do not deserve and we live by the spirit of grace which is the holy spirit. The law is written on our hearts. Therefore no need to keep the written Law like its being taught we are to do.

Thank you for addressing my comment. I was hoping that you would also address a similar-but-more refined question I left on episode 2, but unfortunately you did not. -- 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. -- Paul is clearly alluding to the redemption of our mortal bodies here. If that has been fulfilled at Christ's resurrection, why is physical death still a thing in this world? Aren't we all still wearing our perishable mortal bodies? That was my question on episode 2. I think the explanation is quite straight-forward. That promise simply has not been fulfilled yet, because it will happen in the future during the rapture. It is interesting how you treat 1 Corinthians 15 as proof that the 1,000-year reign ended at Jesus' resurrection. To me, the same chapter (verse 53 especially) completely debunks it. -- 1 Corinthians 15:25-26 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. -- This is a process that is still actively going on. The physical aspect of death has not yet been put under Jesus' feet. No wonder the Hebrew writer specifically mentions that Jesus has destroyed not death, but "the one who has the power of death" (Hebrew 2:14). Then, you also asked why GOD would create organisms that thrive on consuming dead things. My response to that is, GOD did not initially create them to have such nature. All animals used to be herbivores (Genesis 1:30). However when Adam sinned, the entire creation fell and became corrupted (Romans 8:21). Now, we have tiny microorganisms invisible to the naked eyes that can kill adult humans. Consider the following two bacterial species: Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Their names should hint you to what deadly diseases they cause. In the beginning during creation, do you really think that this is what GOD had in mind when He said "it is good"? Absolutely not. All these deaths (including physical) only came after Adam sinned. The books of the Bible are consistent and harmonious with one another. It is one thing to criticize a bad bible translation. It is an entirely different game to claim that that the original writers themselves were erroneous, because the said book does not fit your theology 🤯🤯

I think you're not understanding the gospel. In Romans 5 and 6 the comparison is made between Adam and Christ. Humanity was "in Adam" until the Cross. As Adam was, Christ is. Humanity is now "in Christ". Sin has been eliminated and with it death. When you die you do not die but pass. You are eternal now because you are holy righteous and perfect. Romans: 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin equals death. Righteousness equals eternal life. Humanity is one with Christ. Sin is gone through Christ therefore death is swallowed up in victory. You are one with the eternal NOW that does not change with physical death. On your point about the harmony of the Bible. The Bible is made up of Old Testament - this contains most of the "Scripture" Jesus refers to and must be your baseline for all doctrinal interpretation and New Testament writings. Books in the New Testament must pass through the litmus test of not violating Scripture. There are many books and portions of books in the NT that do not pass this test- another reason there are over 45k denominations in the world.

@@vicdobrenan9978 I totally agree with you about my eternal righteousness. I have been saved and will never lose my salvation. Now, I am waiting for the redemption of my mortal perishable body, as Paul has stated in 1 Corinthians 15:53. I believe that this incorruptible body will be just like Jesus' body after His resurrection, unbound by time and space.

I think on e of the problems with Paul and others sometimes is that there are not specific in their statements " Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind (what is he forgetting, The Law, His Sins, His jews customs or traditions, His country men, Etc.) and reaching forward to what lies ahead. This my observation maybe I am wrong but Paul shift from Gospel of Grace to works of the law (flesh) in many of his letters.

Apparently, Paul agreed with Peter that the enemy (even though he was already defeated) is still prowling around. Isn't that why he wrote Ephesians 6 and taught us the armor of GOD? Moreover, Peter actually believes that the devil has been defeated. "Walking about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" is a perfect description of a defeated enemy. Have you ever seen (or watched on TV) lions roaring, whenever they are hunting? I have never. When lions are seeking whom they may devour, they stalk and try to be invisible to their prey; because they truly have the killing power in their teeth. Why then is the devil impersonating the lions incorrectly by roaring? Because he wants us to think that he still has the power, when in reality, Jesus has completely destroyed him who had the power of death. The only tactic he has now is deception.

So... Instead of keeping the integrity of the entire bible and letting it explain itself, both of you arrived at this conclusion that "some books were written erroneously". Very interesting, to put it very mildly. Wondering what I will hear next, about Peter.

36:38 "... When Jesus rose from the dead, was He still seated at the right hand? No, he wasn't." Isn't that the point when He actually just started sitting down; after He offered that one perfect sacrifice for sins for all time? Hebrews 10:11-13 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.

Mr. Williams I am from Statesville NC, and knew your friend Rick Davis. Worked out in same gym for years. Saw you at his house and had pleasure to hear you speak. Heard tapes with Gospel Revolution printed on case with you speaking. Probably my first taste of real good news. We probably veer here and there on some of the incidentals in view. I did listen to your Philippians 2:5-8 mind of Christ commentary and agree nearly entirely, though you stopped way too short. I attend Baptist church and was not offended at all by the equal comment, hate you left out the rest though, because it explains everything about where we are at and why. Nobody has a good answer to it even though it is clearly stated right in the passage. People want to know why they are here on earth, and who they are. You do a great job of explaining the who, and mostly the why of who we are. I am listening but haven't heard the why we are here on earth, though it is clearly stated over and over, just as the who we are question along with sub-question of why we are who we are. If you are reading comments section would love to know why you belive mankind is here on Earth. Ps. The 1000 year reign of Christ question ive been looking at for years, between me and my son Finnly, my son really connecting it to my decades slow search we came to same conclusion, from David to Jesus about 3 weeks or so ago, was utterly shocked to hear same from you!

@@GospelRevolution1 well.. I know what it means.. but, I want you to know what it means also. for that to happen.. you have to admit.. Revelation 20 never mentions this idea that Jesus reigns 1000 years. this 1000 year period is a very unique time period.. it is from the time Jesus died, resurrected, and ascended to heaven.. to the time of his return. there has never been a time period like the one we are in now. before baby Jesus was born... there was one nation of God... and within that one nation was the kingdom of God. now... the kingdom of God is available to whosoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. this is very different than what it was before baby Jesus was born. we, that are born of God, have everlasting life.. the 2nd death has no power over us.. right now. John 11 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? right now we are kings and priests unto God. Exodus 19 the Lord calls the children of Israel an holy nation and a kingdom of priests... and a peculiar treasure.. we read the same thing 1 Peter 2 a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people. we read in 1 John 3 .. now are we the sons of God. see.. Jesus changed things.. but the unsaved can't see it. and again... John 11 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection Jesus is the first resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection we, that are born of God, are partakers of his resurrection he is our leader... and we will follow him. we, that are born of God

Verily I am saying to you that by no means MAY this generation be passing by till all SHOULD be occurring. Such verses are in the SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD. That the proper scriptural solution to your problem. The promised kingdom should have come. He had performed enough miracles. But God had other plans. Clue: the word Paul means PAUse. God puts His plans for Israel on pause. Bringing in His other nations. Did another promise go unfulfilled? They were extremely close to the Promised Land. Yet only the tiny two are allowed entrance. Joshua and Caleb. The rest get to wander for 40 years till death do they part. Ditto between His death and the death of their temple. God's other plans: John 12:39.
