Thank you for addressing my comment. I was hoping that you would also address a similar-but-more refined question I left on episode 2, but unfortunately you did not. -- 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. -- Paul is clearly alluding to the redemption of our mortal bodies here. If that has been fulfilled at Christ's resurrection, why is physical death still a thing in this world? Aren't we all still wearing our perishable mortal bodies? That was my question on episode 2. I think the explanation is quite straight-forward. That promise simply has not been fulfilled yet, because it will happen in the future during the rapture. It is interesting how you treat 1 Corinthians 15 as proof that the 1,000-year reign ended at Jesus' resurrection. To me, the same chapter (verse 53 especially) completely debunks it. -- 1 Corinthians 15:25-26 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. -- This is a process that is still actively going on. The physical aspect of death has not yet been put under Jesus' feet. No wonder the Hebrew writer specifically mentions that Jesus has destroyed not death, but "the one who has the power of death" (Hebrew 2:14). Then, you also asked why GOD would create organisms that thrive on consuming dead things. My response to that is, GOD did not initially create them to have such nature. All animals used to be herbivores (Genesis 1:30). However when Adam sinned, the entire creation fell and became corrupted (Romans 8:21). Now, we have tiny microorganisms invisible to the naked eyes that can kill adult humans. Consider the following two bacterial species: Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Their names should hint you to what deadly diseases they cause. In the beginning during creation, do you really think that this is what GOD had in mind when He said "it is good"? Absolutely not. All these deaths (including physical) only came after Adam sinned. The books of the Bible are consistent and harmonious with one another. It is one thing to criticize a bad bible translation. It is an entirely different game to claim that that the original writers themselves were erroneous, because the said book does not fit your theology 🤯🤯

I think you're not understanding the gospel. In Romans 5 and 6 the comparison is made between Adam and Christ. Humanity was "in Adam" until the Cross. As Adam was, Christ is. Humanity is now "in Christ". Sin has been eliminated and with it death. When you die you do not die but pass. You are eternal now because you are holy righteous and perfect. Romans: 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin equals death. Righteousness equals eternal life. Humanity is one with Christ. Sin is gone through Christ therefore death is swallowed up in victory. You are one with the eternal NOW that does not change with physical death. On your point about the harmony of the Bible. The Bible is made up of Old Testament - this contains most of the "Scripture" Jesus refers to and must be your baseline for all doctrinal interpretation and New Testament writings. Books in the New Testament must pass through the litmus test of not violating Scripture. There are many books and portions of books in the NT that do not pass this test- another reason there are over 45k denominations in the world.

@@mjul7003 To literally claim that the original Holy-Spirit-inspired writers of the Bible were wrong, because it does not fit your theology... Now, THAT is confirmation bias of a nuclear proportion.

@@vicdobrenan9978 I totally agree with you about my eternal righteousness. I have been saved and will never lose my salvation. Now, I am waiting for the redemption of my mortal perishable body, as Paul has stated in 1 Corinthians 15:53. I believe that this incorruptible body will be just like Jesus' body after His resurrection, unbound by time and space.

@@AmericanRoads What holy spirit? Who says the writers were imbued with it?

We were made in the image of Christ, if he was born here to die to think it was anyone else’s destiny not to is weird to me
