Been running 100LL for half the price of leaded 110 in my BB Mopar for 2000 miles now and I couldn’t be happier

It is made to not cause vapor lock at altitude. What it does on the ground is it doesn't ignite like fuel station gas. Is there "winter grade Avgas ?
@martinporter64784 ай бұрын
BS. I ran avgas in my EVO VIIi 500bjp and also my M3 and pretty much all my high power turbo cars. Evo did just over 40k miles before we pulled the engine to upgrade the rods and pistons. There was zero buildup and engine was spotless. Avgas tends to run a bit rich tho, cause its a high density fuel. The only downside is the small amounts of lead, although it a 100LL ( low lead) lead is still present as its used as a lubricant. It’s cheaper the race fuel and very clean 100 octane fuel. Anyone that speaks against avgas, its a race fuel company or internet keyboard warrior that has never used it

Hey, good morning.. I’m interested in buying 15 gallons , 5 gallons of pure gas , 5 gallons of ethanol , 5 gallons of methanol.. I’ve got a couple recipes of mixing this three together.. but my question is our people doing this for environmental reasons or is it a bigger horsepower gain ? I live right down the street and North Myrtle Beach from one of your dealers. I could easily go pick this up soon !! Thanks & And I hope to hear back

It's a clean burning fuel for sure
@josephwesley11916 ай бұрын
My understanding is aviation fuel is not designed for any altitude, it’s designed to limit detonation and not go bad and that is it.. There is no such thing as fuel intended for specific RPM’s. Fuel doesn’t care about RPM it cares about compatible timing and compression. Airplanes usually operate at 2200 to 2700 RPM. 2400 is very typical. If I am wrong I would like to know how? Cheers!

I fuel airplanes for a living, and I have access to LOTS of avgas 100LL and mogas 91 (zero ethanol). I burn both in my car and it loves it. Although I have bypassed O2 sensors and a cat (soon to delete) there actually is no other issue with burning 100LL in your car except spark plug fouling. I check mine monthly and lightly sand blast fouling off and good as new

Been running it for fourty years..cut it with a bottle of Marvel oil..seems okay..turned 389 000. Miles..really i did
@konnerwaldrop44569 ай бұрын
The only issue with this statement is the fuel is designed to run at 10k altitude. Guess he forgot about taking off on a runway at sea level. That is the one time you run your airplane at full power. Got to come up with something better than that. How about facts like and independent dyno comparison with engine properly jetted.

Hi...and maybe you could help or possibly someone give some clear directional advice. If you do then thank you.. appreciated. I have a standard VW caddy 1.9 SDI and it is at its limits on emissions. And I've here in Spain it has to have an itv test...you get the test you can drive it on the road. Problem is it 900 kilometres away at my sister's... So l need to clean out the emissions so that l can get it back up here to repairs... So what spec and ratios... Are needed.. l have seen about 10% to the volume diesel quantity... But it's the European spec ...that l need to clarify.. I seen some 303 spec... saying 100%>>>>not sure that's true. It's just to get it passed the test .. Hopefully you could or can help. Simon a Brit in Spain 👍

So our introduction starts us off with Toby Baptiste w/Renegade face fuel founder that they are the racing fuel and lubricants company that does more than just sell products. But, I wanted to understand methanol fuel S201 that I came across on cumulative report 1979-85 which stood under the heading: Energy resources-Do you suppose this man is advocating a filtration product with CO2?U.S. Venture, Inc. v. United States, 448 F. Supp. 3d 979, 2020 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 49500, 2020-1 U.S. Tax Cas. (CCH) P70,359, 2020 WL 1366418

RUBBISH WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH YOU SPEW FORTH SIR AV GAS IS AS GOOD AS ANYTHING WHEN YOU NEED HIGHER OCTANE IN AN APP PLUSS IT HAS ATLEAST SOME LEAD AVAILABLE WHICH ISV PLUSS ➕️ IF EVEN IN TRACE AMOUNT'S
@michaelmorrow7735 Жыл бұрын
Avgas isn’t just designed to run at 10,000ft. Airplanes need to make lots of power for takeoff and climb. It needs to produce power from sea level to over 25,000ft. Also the RPM of the motor isn’t a factor. Aircraft engines are high performance and high compression air cooled engines. They are susceptible to extreme high and low temperatures and changes in pressure. So they need a high octane highly refined pure fuel. Lead is the best way in this case to increase the octane. Avgas does not have as much lead as an old school leaded fuel. So if you put it in a carbureted application the motor will love it.

I have a 1963 Corvair. It was built for premium leaded gas. Generally use non-ethanol premium. Occasionally treat her to a tank of avgas. She seems to like the 100 octane lead.

You don’t wanna loose sales bum . I’ve ran aviation fuel in my pro stock car and motocross bikes and sleds for 20 years . I received the performance for almost half the cost of fuel that comes in cans . The Sunoco 110 is a good fuel too . 74 buck for 5 gallons . Vp is pricing them selves out of the market. I’m gonna try a can of your brand a see what’s up

Biggest issue with 100 LL avgas is it's high lead content. The lead may not be friendly in your application.

I've run 100/130 AVgas for over 30 years in my high compression BBC in my Chevelle and boat, I've also dynoed engines on AVgas without any issues. It's a spec consistent non Ethanol leaded fuel at a very fair price. When VP racing fuels started out, their best selling gas was C-12, the base fuel used to produce C-12 was AVgas, put that in your pipe and smoke it, since you're blowing a lot of smoke!
