I don't live in cali but don't they build the buildings to be strong against earthquakes? Like I think I rember hearing this before that construction is different there to make them more sturdy and able to withstand the shaking? But the fires are a bit more recent in how severe they are getting. The last few yearsit's been getting worse and it's kinda hard to make buildings and houses fire proof.

Can you imagine the Meltdown this idiot would have if the snort fort was ever threatened by a fire we would be so lucky knowing him he would ignore the evacuation and try to ride the thing out only for people to come back to the burned-out neighborhood to find there had been a pig roast his charred body still sitting at his desk😂

He’s so rude and entitled he can’t fathom people living on skid row or otherwise impoverished and can’t leave. He can’t understand a lot of people have NO homes. He has no thought for the wildlife. Phil is an uneducated entitled beggar. He needs to stay in his lane.

Yes… national news will definitely report random guy’s house burning down, and not the celebrity that people actually know
@josephjackson9679Күн бұрын
Tbh the coverage of it here in the UK had reporters following the firemen and reporting how random houses WERE burning down, and one caught alight while they were talking to a fireman. There wasnt much coverage or interest in which celebrities were finding out their second homes had burned

Idk. As a non-American I've often had the exact same thought regarding housing in tornado alley or anywhere with frequent flooding, why build and live there? Why rebuild time and time again for this to keep happening? Maybe I'm also missing something lol
@christy9546Күн бұрын
In America it kinda doesn’t matter where you live there’s some sort of disaster that can hit any part of the country. Also people are born and raised in areas they have lived their entire lives. They have families, jobs, and graves they attend too. Jobs are scarce in certain areas. Phil is wrong.

I'm really stunned. I guess I was naïve in assuming that his take was going to be more a criticism on the people in power in California that have made the state ripe for these kinds of disasters. Leave it to Phil, one of the most coddled and soft individuals I've ever come across, to have a completely calloused and idiotic take on the situation. He's basically channeling Captain Hindsight.

@mimsy7068Күн бұрын
As far as I can tell sometimes Sakai donates because according to him "he feels pressured into it" Like some sort of compulsion. I know the day he was banned the last thing he said to Phil was about "Phil playing Coin Game because he KNEW he would feel pressured into donating." My best opinion that was part of a private conversation so Phil cut it off right there. He then proceeded to call him a lunatic and unhinged.

“Why do they keep building there?” Regarded question to ask when you consider that homes don’t constantly catch on fire in California, and it’s all 100% dependent on how much rain they get months before. California hasn’t seen rain since October from what I’ve heard. Dipshit really should be applying this to homes in Florida that get destroyed every year by a consistent hurricane season.
@itypethetruthnobshere8975Күн бұрын
la is built in a desert. Fire happens all the time there just like flooding in Louisiana or hurricanes in florida. It happens every year.
@Keep701Күн бұрын
@ It doesn’t happen so much that hundreds of homes go up in flames year after year. The same can’t be said of hurricane season homes.
@itypethetruthnobshere8975Күн бұрын
@@Keep701 this is a katrina like event. Yes not hundreds or thousands of home but fires happen every single year in Cali.
