Why is it when we are going into winter here in Australia, we always have these jetski videos recommended to us, It’s not too cold that we can’t ride. But it’s cold enough not to be enjoyable enough if that makes sense Anyway. For all you living in the northern hemisphere enjoying your summer. This guy made me want to move to Ireland (From the US).

The safety chain is supposed to be connected directly to the tow vehicle by a load rated shackle not just thrown over the ball, if the hitch jumps off then the chain will follow.

In the US if you start taking straps off at the launch, be prepared to get your ass chewed by every dude over 50.... most launching areas in the US should have an area where you can prep your ski to launch, so take off the rear strap, remove the security rope from the front, put your life vest on the ski, put anything in the ski youll meed, check and make sure the plug is in, then start the ski briefly to ensure it'll start before you are taking a launch. Then youll be good to go.

Ok this HAS to be the very best and concise video on this topic of how to look over a used jet ski prior to purchasing. FANTASTIC. I need to revise this a couple of times, but man this was great!

You CANNOT run a Sea-doo out of the water for 5 or 10 minutes. If you try this be prepared to completely have a 100% destroyed engine.

I’ve had my 2004FXHO listed on OfferUp for over two years now with just bites. Nobody is willing to drop 3K for a four stroke that’s 20 years old even if in great condition like mine. Some people are just cheap.

winch rope is upside down.. you want the winch to pull the seafood DOWN. Rope should extend from under the winch spool, not over the top.
