Even deleted MDS hydraulic lifters still the same problem. the design lifters roller needles bearing always failure, whether change oil early or not same issue.

A pulley upgrade is not a stage 1 😂 a exhaust and intake, tune is stage 1 Bolt ons is stage 2 Pulley upgrade a stage 3 “since it really not a bolt on”

my understanding is HPF were only referring to the standard factory ecu, hence the need to change the ecu to that of the F150 which then allows for custom tuning...

Would have been good to include a performance check from stock v's tuned on the drag strip.. on screen numbers just aren't sufficient enough to warrant the spend.

It would be great to have a drag strip in the backyard we could test on every day but we don't. What we do have though is a dyno that gives us validated power figures from stock to tuned and graphs to prove the outputs.

Makes you wonder how much power do people want, car manufacturers had safely as the first priority when making a vehicle but that gets cancelled out when design and speed come to play their roles, vehicle height and unnecessary add ons make some of these vehicles death traps.

Gee that must be a very conservative tune, I have a 2014 SS sedan, (it is manual though), I have Harrop's TVS2300 supercharger, Blackwell CnC Heads, LS7 Lifter upgrade, a 235/241 113 Crow Cam on a Harrop Tune, we called it at 565RWKW, Harrop beleived it would go over 580 if I allowed the RPM limiter to be increased to 7000, but I said 565 was more than enough. (mind you this was also on a Hub Dyno).

Aren't you concerned about the 6.4L s problematic ring lands on the pistons? Best way is upgrade pistons rods and then push real boost

if you want a high performance ls commodore do not go to walkinshaw. The rwkw figures are barely over 400 and in one particular case with an lsa ute the hsv only made 390rwkw at HPF. Owners of gts vehicles with the 557 package have shown on dyno sheets their vehicles make around 550hp (410rwkw) and that it is not worth getting the w557 package.

Yes i've heard this from multiple other people. The torque figures are also overstated. Im surprised they haven't been sued but maybe the bogans who got a car and the 557 upgrade ran out of cash after that. HSV and Walkinshaw typically overstate their numbers. That disclaimer in the vid 'actual results may vary' is like the disclaimer on homer simpsons interview 'dramatisation, may not have happened'
