@@Ahmetfurkan0xx I know the technique you’re talking about. The problem is the stress it puts on your neck over time. I typically use fiber line as much as possible because there’s less risk of vehicle and personal damage. Nothing is completely risk free. You just have to learn how to mitigate it and balance that whole risk vs reward thing.

@@darrensmith3317 Yes. It was a bonding issue between the primer and the glass. Probably didn’t decontaminate the glass properly or enough if I had to guess.

Because i saw it was black i couldn't tell it apart from the bat 😅 although i did notice the resemblance. 😅😅 The black threw me off 😅😅😅 Great work. Keep doing your thing. @@isonewayautoglass He does, daily. This is the newer model of the Bat called the Orange Bat QC. It has a quick connect slot for the handles so you can utilize it as a suction cup for the setting system if necessary.

@@ryanp5496 It’s at a body shop. We remove them so they can paint without having to tape off the window. Makes for a cleaner paint job.

@@josenca90 If you look back through my library there’s a few. I’m recording them as I get them. I’m just an employee with a cool boss that lets me record these on the job but I only get what I’m assigned each day. The short answer is “Yes. I’ll do videos on door and quarter glass removals.” but they may be slow showing up. …and to be fair, probably 90%+ of jobs will be windshields. Also, WRD has a new quarter glass removal tool on the way. I’ll be posting videos of it soon.

@@josenca90 Welcome! The fender covers you can get here… panther-pro.com/product/workshop-bumper-protector-cover/ We also do ADAS recalibration, and while I am qualified/certified we have a dedicated recalibration specialist in our office so I do them rarely. We use Autel for our recalibration.

@@jiandeng89 When you put the hook under the edge rotate it 90 degrees down so it catches the inside edge of the shroud then pull it away from the catch tab that’s on the inside.

@@3rdgeneration653 You can actually use this method on a great many vehicles. I have a prototype tool that will allow for removal of smaller windows from the inside. I’ll be posting videos of that one soon.

@@madhusharma-th8fp Quite literally called “hook tool” or “pick tool.” Not sure where you’re located but I got a set of 4 different styles at Harbor Freight. It used to be sharp but I dulled the point so I wouldn’t catch/tear fabric or stab it into wires…or myself.

@@Truu2it True, but a good tech can strike that balance between speed and quality. Thats where a good routine and muscle memory come into play. Myself a couple other techs had no problems making the weekly bonus while also keeping our metrics in line.
