You are a wonderful instructor. My wife’s grandfather was Louisiana Cajun harmonica player, Isom Fontenot. Where do you reside?

Grant what tune or song is that from? I know various versions of chilly winds but is this from a particular artist or version?

It's really refreshing to have something played without a backing track. It's harder to sound good alone there needs to be more "back porch blues" on here, bravo!.

Might be obvious but remember this video is mirrored so left hand (harp hold hand) is perceived as right hand. Turning off mirroring when taking video might be less confusing to viewers

Such a great lesson, I imagine everyone wants to know how to play like Sonny Terry. Getting me practicing the tongue blocked 3 bend and feels so good when it starts to come together , thank you 🙏

You give such great texture to what the lesson involves. Your technique on how to even begin inspires me. Will be listening from here on.

Thank you Grant. I attended a workshop in NJ you did years ago with sponsored by the best little harp house. You were a great teacher. I also got to meet and continue to learn from the great Peter Trip Henderson. A harmonica virtuoso and all around good man.

1:40 Mark. tongue block the 2 hold draw and then get the cord that follows it? Are we literally just blocking the 2 with out tongue then letting off and drawing over 123?
