Such a great lesson, I imagine everyone wants to know how to play like Sonny Terry. Getting me practicing the tongue blocked 3 bend and feels so good when it starts to come together , thank you 🙏

Thanks for your explanation. I don’t hear many harp teachers talking about the soft palate. Will try it.

Thank you Grant. I attended a workshop in NJ you did years ago with sponsored by the best little harp house. You were a great teacher. I also got to meet and continue to learn from the great Peter Trip Henderson. A harmonica virtuoso and all around good man.

Is the 3 bend part also tongue blocked? Or is it played puckered then the rhythm is tongue blocked? Trying to get this down ,just confused on this part. Any info greatly appreciated 🙏

Love the video - I normally pucker- I just can’t seem to get the bends when tongue blocking - any advice or just trial and error?

Hahaha this is exactly how I use these kinds of tunes. At the last gig, the guitar player broke three strings at various times, so it's good to have more than one...

Do you use the 2 draw for the rhythmic pattern or the 3 blow?
