Heading out there soon and found your channel. Was planning to check out that “secret lake” as well. I gotta ask, how were the clams? I’ve never tried but had a buddy cook one up, he nearly threw it up… maybe his prep was wrong, said it was full of sand. Thanks for sharing your trip.

8:10 went to Penn Lake on the weekend. Got this site because of your video. Fire pit still looked closer to what you left it than what you found it! Lots of clean grills hanging off to the side too.

Millsy - hey man thanks for watching my video. Appreciate the feedback. Glad you benefited from watching and were able to find this site. Penn Lake has so many great beach sites. This site was close to the portage as well to gather fire wood. I am anticipating my fall canoe trip in 1 months time returning to Algonquin. Cheers.

What a great trip you had! Loved the video. And great timing - I’m going to Queer on May 12. Questions: did the solo you rented come with the seat? where was campsite #2? Did you score brookies at the falls on the Tim river? Thanks.

I enjoyed the video. I started my camping KZbin channel last year and it's been a blast. I am heading to Algonquin in the spring for my first solo canoe trip to the park. I know you went in the spring but do you mind telling me the date? Thanks for sharing the video.

North Hey man sorry for not getting back to you. Was at my sons hockey tournament on the weekend and now dealing with Covid which is knocking the crap out of me May 12 -16 th I went in but we had that hot spell I was swimming two weeks after ice was out I packed a lot of warm clothes and did not need them First time solo? Good for you. This way you can do what you want, when you want, go where you want. I am going with a buddy in the spring this time. Tough because he doesn’t like portaging. Lol I like to explore and see different things. I will touch base with you later when I am feeling better Cheers

We had a tiny bit of rain second night then the rest of our trip abet cold at night being at or just below freezing was perfect for daytime hiking. 8 days of videos and photos still to edit. Well done! Sub from me!
