RIP-a great competitor. I remember reading about his successes in the late 90s. Sponsored by Mongoose, he was riding on one of their ti frame bikes. I am still riding the same frame I acquired through a warranty claim, plus a bit of additional $$. They had some really sweet ti frames in their lineup. Mine weighs in at 21.5lbs built up with XTR group, Rochshox Sid carbon and other lightweight stuff. Sweet ride.

I bought a custom designed Aeroforce and the material that contacts the saddle started fraying after less than 200 miles. They do not back up their horrible quality. Never again

Great video Chris, Question, I'm doing the Escape from Alcatraz Aquathlon in 2024 and although I'm a pretty good swimmer, the 50F-55F degree temp in SF Bay in June has me worried. Would you go with this Roka MX (thicker for colder water) or go for the Roka X2 (more range of motion in the shoulders)?
