As many other have pointed out, this is not a legitimate method for distilling water. Cheap coffee makers use a bubble pump that pushes water directly from the tank into the showerhead, only a small % of the water ever evaporates, and what does leaves its mineral behind in the remaining water, which...just gets pumped to the showerhead.
