the sad state is everyone does takfir in one form or another , when you label a Muslim as khawariz to justify killing them that is a form of takfeer now how is it reasonable for you to complain of being tagged as this and that when you yourself name call people and suggest they are out of Islam but you do it subtly. be sure sooner or later theses false accusations will bounce back on you. Allah is the one from whom help is sought. the worst scholars are those who lie to safeguard their personal interests. we can accept someone's claim that some people are very harsh and i would say that is because of their ruthless experiences and also because of constant lies they have to hear from people like this shaykh. we don't see the same emotions in condemnation of the clear kuffar brutality on Muslims. wouldn't this be construed as approval of their barbarity. when some Muslims stand against this they are then opposed by Muslim rulers in support of the kiuffar. Shaykh Saeed bin Hilaal Al-Omr (may Allah preserve him) responded after watching a widely circulated clip of Uthman Al-Khamees in which he perfumes his students with perfume claimed to contain strands of the Prophet’s ﷺ hair. He mentioned that such slips, which have been observed from him in recent times, can occasionally lead to shirk. He suggested that this might be due to his association and inclination toward the people of innovation. He advised him to return to the truth, as that is better than persisting in falsehood. He also emphasized the need for the Shaykh to be cautious of some of his followers who criticize other scholars, speak ill of the people of knowledge, and exaggerate his status, placing him in a position he does not rightfully hold. It was also brought to his attention that the Shaykh is aware of the writings of one of his students, who uses offensive language against the scholars and students of knowledge from Ahl al-Sunnah. Yet, despite this, he continues to bring this student close to him and even allows him to read to him. The Shaykh said: "A person follows the religion of his close companion, so let one of you look at whom he takes as a companion." Another issue he raised is that some of Al-Khamees’s admirers circulate his old statements, claiming that he upheld the truth in the past. However, this is evidence against him, not in his favor. What matters is one’s conclusion. What caused him to change his statements to falsehood? Allah says: "So let those beware who dissent from the Prophet's order, lest fitnah strike them or a painful punishment." (Surah An-Nur: 63) Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari once said to Hudhayfah: "Advise me!" Hudhayfah replied: "The true misguidance is when you recognize what you used to reject and reject what you used to recognize. Beware of inconsistency in the religion of Allah, for Allah's religion is one."

How recent is this video? Because recently Jolani came out saying basically that they seek no wars and seek friendly relations with all countries especially for example Jordan. So the main government officials are clearly not khawarij otherwise they would have committed apostasy according to khariji principles. But yes there is a concern regarding some of the fights being khawarij and having khariji inclinations.
