Unless you lived through these magical times, you can't understand the feelings and emotions that this music stirs. I'm so grateful to have been born when I was and to have grown up with these musical legends. Growing older is not for the faint of heart but listening to this reminds me I wouldn't want to be a part of any other generation. Reading some of these beautiful comments lets me know I'm in good company.

This song came out in 1973 the year I was born and I want this song played at my funeral which may not be so long from now. And before somebody ask, I had a lump in my neck and I had a biopsy done last Friday so I’m just waiting for the newsand all I hope is it something curable because 50 years old is too young specially when you have a 10-year-old son and a beautiful wife at home. Anyone reading this just wish me luck.

I remember sneaking out of bed to watch The Perry Como Show. I loved him, even as young as 5 years old. I wanted him to be my daddy.

Chet Atkins. The man could play any style of music. He was much more than just country. What can you say about Perry. Another remarkable and talented singer and actor. All of this is nostalgic for me because I am near 70 and this music speaks volumes to my heart. Still a rocker but this soothes the soul.
