This indeed would’ve made more sense. The idea that he was tricked by Palpatine with a false vision and that Palpatine essentially played both Ben and Luke by pitting them against each other is actually pretty terrifying. Seriously those edited laughs at the lighstsaber clash indicate that Palpatine got what he wanted. Also with this edit, we get to see Luke’s perspective as we actually see the vision. While this still doesn’t justify Luke’s actions, it does make it more understandable to an audience as to why he considered killing Ben. Good edit. Wish it was in the movie. 👍🏻
