I followed your instructions and it didn't work. All that came out was liquid soap, no foam! I tried adding more gel but no better. Is the water in England different to America? Serious question as we live in what is termed a hard water area with a high calcium content.
@LoriGarcia19 күн бұрын
Hmmmm....Did you use a bottle/container that is made for foam soap. The dispenser is an important part of it all, unfortunately. I know when my mom tries to make foam soap, she puts too much soap into the bottle and it doesn't work right either. Depending on your bottle's size will determine your amount of soap to add. I hope this helps. I've been to the UK six times, and I can't imagine the water is that different. We have hard water here too where I live.

@suer6103Ай бұрын
Why would you use food color???? It's soap! It doesnt need to be btighter, darker than the gel or liquid soap that you're using! That's ridiculous for so many reasons! Adding more chemicals is never a good idea ( bc there's already a bunch of chemicals in the soap) It brings to mind, not to use it when mixing hummingbird syrup so that should tell you something. There just isn't anything good about food color! Besides, it's just going down the drain!

This foam looks thinner than foam soap that's purchased at the store. How do you give it more "body"?
@LoriGarcia8 ай бұрын
That is probably a trade-off, unfortunately. It is probably a little bit thinner, but the smell is great and mimics the B&BW ones. You can try to add more soap in the mix, but unfortunately, too much soap is problematic too, as it won't produce foam. Let me know if you come up with a better ratio!

@artemismirror2174 Lamar's chocolate long johns are my favorite. You can use this basic donut recipe to create them, but if you've never made regular glazed or chocolate frosted donuts, I would do that first. I found this piping tip off Amazon that will help you make a filled donut. I have used it with frosting, pudding and jam and it works great. @LoriGarcia Жыл бұрын
Hi Liliixx - good question :) Most Bath and Body soaps and body washes are not disinfectants, they are merely soap. Soap does its job by washing the germs down the sink, not offering any disinfecting properties. So, does this work like soap or any foam soap you would find on the shelves -- yes! Does this disinfect like Lysol or other strong disinfectant -- no. Hope this helps :)

Yes! It's a lot easier than you think. One thing I've learned after making this video (and hundreds of cutters and cookies!) was to try not to make any small little parts, but keep the shape less intricate. Those small little parts, can easily break off! You can do a lot to decorate to make details. Good luck! Keep me posted.

Hi Lori, love your lil village! For the lake I followed Marklin of Sweden his youtube channel name, and designed a lake using just glue & toliet paper & paint. If you look him up, you will find it. I tried this for a beach "village" shown in my youtube channel. And ironically i did the same like you did, built levels with styrofoam for my lil halloween village as i had a very limited space to do it, on top of a small hutch. I'm always looking for styrofoam in the garbage. 😂😂😂😂😂
