This is the only vid on KZbin I've found that visually documents a stanley two tone... Very rare it seems, and yet worth even less than a standard no. 4! I found a Two Tone in my dads garage, he let me have it - the jappaning is completely shot and there's only a tiny smidgen of yellow left. You found a great example there.

Kohler dropped the ball on that one. John Deere just sources it from them. I've had a few of them come apart like that. They had a different Bendix design on earlier ones that holds up more. Hope it worked out for you. 👍

Cleve off 😂 micrometer 😂 wtf. Last I checked using a Dremel to Cleve doesn’t work super well. It works much better as a grinder. As a mechanic I use a micrometer maybe twice a year. You bring it out for a rad cap 😂

My sister bought one for $100 recently. It’s green so maybe not true OG? We assembled it and learned the hard way that they don’t work so well in light white water 😏 aside from a few bruises, we recovered the boat and recovered everything we had in it!

i just bought electric start system for my NorthStar 8000 walt generator 2003 with honda gx390 from eBay that works very well. my only problem is over charging 17.5 volts too high. it needs voltage regulator. not sure the one to get or how to hook it up?

Would this sensor have any relation to the transmission shifting into 4 gear on an automatic transmission? I have changed out the two spoed sensors on the top 01M automatic transmission with no fix to the issue. Vagcom speed sensor readings are accurate but then all the sudden drop from 65 km an hour to 40 km or 20 km an hour and never reads above 68 to 71 km an hour. Even if the car is traveling 80 km and hour. I'm thinking its mechanical transmission related issue.

Just went to replace the driver side HID bulb on my 2008 400h, and of course at this age she has the dreaded condensation issue along with the faded lexan. Did the Lexus bumper bulb limbo dance, pulled the light, popped the HID cover, and suddenly a whole quart of water poured out! 🤣 Pretty sure the ballast is fried. Time for replacement. 🔧

@@organicvids I think she's beyond the hair dryer phase, especially with that much water sitting inside for who knows how long. Even if the ballast kicks on, the outside clear cover has so much oxidation, the passenger side isn't too bad because the previous owner replaced it, so i'm just gonna bite the bullet. And of course its the AFS type HID so unfortunately it's the most expensive headlight assembly. Saw a few remanufactured assemblies on Ebay for a few hundred and change.

@@organicvids I didn't check the fuse! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I should probably do that. The screws for the ballast cover underneath are rusted pretty bad, I need a good day to pop the headlight, throw it on the bench and see if it's worth the rebuild. But I didn't even think of checking the fuse. Appreciate it. 🔧

I was able to replace bulbs without disassembling whole lights and front bumper. For the left bulb you need to disassemble fuse box (just push the button in the middle and pull up), for the right bulb you need to disassemble windshield washer fluid filler. Just move these things to the side. There is not much space for manipulating stuff, but it's totally doable to open the lid, disconnect the cable and remove the bulb on both sides 🙂. Took me a while to figure it out, but after I knew how to do it, I was able to get there again in minutes.

I wpuld not mess with fuse box or move harness unless working on it. Intermittent shorts can occur in cracked wiring in loim from moving. Expensive fix i know.

Is battery temp an issue? I just got a code P0A27 and some discussions were that it is caused by blend door not working and battery overheating when ac off.

Blend door actuator is too weak to actuate two blend doors, bad design. And your ac charge is low and or batt cooling fan failure

I wish I had seen your videos some months ago. I have three escape batteries and rebuilt one entirely. As the blend door actuator has begun to fail the rebuilt battery has become super erratic. After reading a forum post I turned on AC yesterday, cleared codes and car started working normally

@@organicvidsahhh, the model I fixed didn't have on installed. The P/N for the CO sensor is 290432064 Gardner out of Columbus OH was a supplier for them. I'm not sure if they still have them or if it would be a backordered part. Hope it helps!.

@@organicvids That is a stupid design. Who in their right mind would operate a generator indoors and even worse someone thought it would be a great idea to mount a co-detector on a generator. That's why I like my old school generators. I'm not sure if there are any electronic shops anymore that can check the PCB and circuits on it. I wish you good luck on this.

They make the product with some bullsheat that requires more maintinance, parts and labor then obsolete said parts or claim they are out of stock so you have to buy another pos. Planned obsenscense. I got a right mind to buy a new one n return this pos in the box just because they dont have the part. I have morals though. People dont buy these junky gene sets.

Since you have an ALH mk4 would you know why the hand brake light flashes n beeps while driving but not while parked does it sound, yes I have oil in brake booster, the hand brake lines aren’t sagging but are touching correctly. It’s causing my car to be in limp mode tho and driving in 3 gear on D mode
