Hope that United flies in and out of Manila from San Francisco (now), Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, Chicago, and Newark. It can be announced, flying the Boeing 777-300ER or Boeing 787-9, and 787-10 Dreamliner to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL/NAIA) Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭 to welcome them in these future times.

Provincial life is certainly an eye opener and shows the true meaning of family values; taking care of one another through thick or thin. Good day Apolo and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and sharing your information with our viewers. Seems $1,500 - $2,000 is a comfortable number both in Luzon and here in Visayas from the feedback ATP has received from viewers. I spent 10 days in Antipolo Luzon in July and COL seems about the same there as here unless of course you are going to buy or rent in Quezon, Makati, or Marikina. Gas prices around 60P per liter for 95 octane and food prices the same. While walking through an outdoor market, I did notice that prices on fruits and vegetables were about 50% less than the supermarket down the street. Four nice lemons for 50P while the supermarket wanted 125P. I’ve signed a lease on a very nice house renting at 25,000P while other comparable homes are charging 35,000P so I feel like I got a good deal. Seems you’ve planned well with no mortgage or rent. Way to go! 👍 And I do believe there are many military veterans living in the Philippines for good reason. One being getting the Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) - Extended Courtesy is quite a savings for the qualified veterans. In my humble opinion, the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) is so much easier and more professional to work with than Thailand’s Immigration system. One of many reasons I moved here. Good day David and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Its never to early to start planning your retirement abroad as is apparent you are doing. Recommend searching on FB for rentals in the locale you are interested in and join some property links that will send you regular updates that match your property desires. I’ve recently done that for the Antipolo market and have found it quite useful. If you have not already visited either the Philippines or Italy, recommend doing so to get a better feel of your prospective future home. I’m a four-season guy and miss the winter months so I'm planning a trip to Hokkaidō Japan in February for some winter sports. One thing I like about living in the Philippines is not only the beauty of the country and the warmth of her people, but you can fly to many destinations in less than four hours. Good day Hesam and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and inquiring. Firstly, I am not a mechanic but have knowledge of mechanics. Since the battery voltage meter shares the same section with the air temperature meter, confirm if the battery voltage meter shows a reading. If it does, this isolates the issue to the air temperature meter. Possibly a loose connection in the wire harness to sensor. Long shot here, but confirm all your fuses are good. Good day Edward and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Yes, I would agree with your numbers as I budget 100,000 monthly ($1,700 USD) and live comfortably. Electric is certainly one cost that is more expensive than other locations but still manageable in the overall scheme of things. I’m currently renting a 70+ sqm townhome for 12,000 peso in Visayas and will soon be moving to Antipolo Luzon where I’ve signed a lease for a 90+ sqm two story house for 25,000 peso ($427 USD) that I still consider a bargain as it would cost me at least $2,000+ in the states. A bump up in the finances but as the old saying goes, “we can’t take it with us”. 🙂 And it is certainly wise planning to have an emergency rainy day fund for the unexpected. @ATPAllThingsPhilippines-jb2050 Ай бұрын
Good day 点一滴学英文 and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and raising this question. Investors do not have to have an account with Vanguard to buy and sell its mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Vanguard maintains agreements with other brokers to give their clients access to Vanguard funds. Similar arrangements with online brokerages and investment houses allow the purchase and sale of mutual funds and ETFs managed by other investment companies including Fidelity, Charles Schwab, and BlackRock. There can be a catch. All brokers, even online discount brokers, charge some fees and commissions. Some allow certain Vanguard funds and other funds to be bought and sold commission-free, and others don't. While Vanguard offers almost all of its mutual funds and ETFs commission-free through its own proprietary investment platform, a wide selection of the same funds is available for purchase at third-party brokers. So you will want to consult with your third party brokerage firm to see what fees if any they may charge. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to ATP to receive future information like this. Your viewership and time is very much appreciated and I wish you a great day.

Good day Mitchiesnts and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. I would agree with you that the Philippines does have much potential to build out the solar, wind, and hydro assets in the future. Last month, (June) while flying into Caticlan to visit Boracay, I was able to see the Nabas Wind Farm which has 18 wind turbines that supply 36 MW of power to the Visayas grid. Wednesday this week I was on a road trip up north in Luzon and saw the Bangui Wind Farm that has 25 wind turbines generating 33 MW and 50% of the power needs for the Ilocos Norte Province. And down in the area of Teresa near Antipolo, Luzon there are three contractors building tunnels for the future hydro dam. As an outsider and guest in this country, I would say the Philippine government is certainly committed to the future of renewable energy. Good day Leah and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Lots going on in the Philippines regarding Renewable Energy. Question #1: In August 2017, “Solar Philippines” opened the country’s first photovoltaic (PV) panel factory located in Santo Tomas, Batangas, a province south of Manila. The 8,429 square meter facility has the capacity to produce 2.5 million solar panels a year, making it one of Asia’s biggest solar factories. Question #2: Philippines imports most of its Solar panels from China, United States and Hong Kong. Question #3: One of the Philippines wind turbine suppliers is Siemens Gamesa whose manufacturing facility is in Le Havre, France. In August 2022, Siemens Gamesa secured a new deal with ACEN CORPORATION (ACEN), a leading renewables developer in Southeast Asia, to supply 14 units of the SG 5.0-145 turbines in the Philippines following the country’s first round of renewable energy auctions. Good day Dylan and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. A 63 MWp solar project has been completed in the Philippines by Modern Energy Management (MEM) for AC Energy. This 63 MWp solar project is located in the Luzon region of the Philippines and has been exporting power to the grid since April 25, 2021. MEM provided engineering, design, and construction services, alongside its Filipino partner, Sidcore Consulting. Philippines conglomerate JG Summit Holdings announced that its renewables arm has completed work on one of the largest rooftop solar installations in the Philippines, a 13.8-MWp array at its petrochemical complex in the city of Batangas. The installation, which spans nine buildings, is expected to eliminate 17 kilotonnes of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually. It was built by JG Summit’s Merbau Corporation in partnership with Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP). Construction works started in August 2022, with the project realised in two phases of 5.8 MW and 8.0 MW, respectively. Wind energy in Philippines: six potential wind power projects in Luzon. Energy Development Corp., a renewable power producer led by the Lopez Group, plans to build six more power projects that will add 1,500 megawatts. EDC owns the existing 150-MW Burgos wind project in Ilocos Norte which was successfully commissioned in November 2014 and is now considered the country’s largest wind power project. EDC also received an approval to conduct the grid impact study for the 262-MW Negros wind project in Manapla and Cadiz. Hi Didier: Nice to hear from you and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Over the years it seems the “talk” of making business transactions simpler and easier for the consumer has actually become more convoluted and difficult. Where there use to be an ounce of trust and friendship with your banking institution, today’s business transactions have taken on a more “cold and unfriendly” atmosphere. The U.S. government doesn’t formally track how many Americans leave the U.S. but the most recent estimate puts the figure at nearly nine million. This figure represents a doubling of the 1999 figure, placed at 4.1 million. The number of expats has more than doubled in the last fifteen years - a number growing faster than the rate of the U.S. population itself. I agree that we do live in crazy times but we must stay focused to protect the assets we have and prevent this sort of corporate theft by the financial consortiums. Where ever you are, take care, and safe travels. Have a great day!

Good day Aerovias and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Many corporate decisions to be made when choosing a jet engine or turbo prop aircraft based on the flight distances and operational needs. In general, jet engines allow an aircraft to fly higher and faster. On longer journeys, this makes them more fuel-efficient. The more time spent at ‘cruising altitude,’ the more pronounced this becomes. However, turboprops can be more desirable for lighter aircraft on shorter flights. The engines are lighter and more efficient at low altitudes as well as during take-off and landing. The choice comes down to airlines’ planned operations and the airports where they will operate. For shorter, low-capacity regional flights, turboprops remain very popular. However, jets are preferable for longer flights or to allow higher capacity. Maybe one day Sunlight Air will embrace the acquisition of the Embraer. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to ATP to receive future information like this. You’re telling the Filipinos owners as a foreigner that you are not paying enough. They view KZbin also, if they raise the cost. You cannot complain! Foreigners are forever telling Filipinos to charge them more. It’s the foreigners who create problems wherever they go. When prices are high or go up they are the first to complain. They can’t just enjoy life and be happy. Talk about a place, they don’t know the word inexpensive.

Good day Muhjm and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and commenting. Your point is well taken but I am informing the expat community of the rental rates in this video. And though Filipinos view KZbin, your argument might apply in Thailand but I believe not here. Most Filipino land lords are logical common-sense individuals. If the rent goes up and I am not satisfied, I do not “COMPLAIN”, I move to another rental of my liking and the Filipino landlords know this. The 3-bedroom townhome next door is priced at 15,000 peso monthly and has only been occupied four months in my 13 months living here. Why? Because he’s trying to price gouge and the prospective tenants aren’t having it. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to ATP to receive future information like this. Good day Phil and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and raising consumer awareness about the ATTO 3’s rust issues. I updated the video description with a link to a good article from New Zealand speaking to this issue and what one ATTO 3 consumer has dealt with. Interestingly, I found this note on the internet: “The rust issue is not widespread, and most Atto 3 cars are not affected. The issue seems to be more prevalent in areas with high humidity or exposure to salt”. Having said that, many of the locations that sell the BYD ATTO 3 are in countries with “high humidity or exposure to salt”. Many of the international auto companies and especially in the United States use a galvanization rust proofing process. This process coats steel with a layer of zinc, most typically by “hot dipping” components in a molten vat of the metal while painted components see a thinner layer deposited via electroplating. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to ATP to receive future information like this and thanks for shedding light on this issue. Good day Eden and thank you for looking at ATP, viewing this video and raising this question. The Philippines abolished import duties for electric vehicles at the beginning of 2023, which will now be extended until 2028. The 2024 BYD ATTO 3 price range is $27,319 to $30,649. On 15 April 2022, Philippine Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11697 or the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) lapsed into law. The law establishes the CREVI, which is a national development plan for the electric vehicle (EV) industry with an annual work plan to accelerate the development, commercialization and utilization of EVs in the country. Good day B Sway and thank you for looking at ATP and viewing this video. You pose a question many ask and a decision many have had to make. If you become uninsurable while living abroad, one option is to self-insure if you have the financial resources. If you have limited resources, it could take only one major medical illness or accident to potentially exhaust those resources. Another option is to return to your home country and seek assistance there. In America, you might be covered by Medicare/Medicaid. If a veteran, you could also seek assistance from the Veterans Administration (VA) for medical care and possibly housing. For many living abroad, this topic should be planned for.
