Now its time for him to work on his property. Nice, quick introduction of your neighbors Micah and Liz @ Black sheep Project. Hope to see more of them. I' m glad you could gift them your Starlink for 10 days. That was very nice of you. Paying it forward is a wonderful thing. And so nice, just like you. At l r ast you have the garden beds closest to the house covered and the straw from the chikens would be a great help. Your neighbors bunnies and goats could also help you. I'm sure between now and next spring they will have plenty to share.

If you use straw make sure that it wasn't sprayed with an herbicide. From a store it is "organic" and if it is local make sure to talk to the farmer. If you don't it will kill your berry plants plus others, particularly tomatoes. If it is not sprayed and not Johnson grass hay it would be awesome for the chickens and garden.

Straw is wonderful, but we had a sawmill close by. We used sawdust, woodchips, wishing for a sawmill close to you.

Somehow I missed this video. Maybe bcuz I worked myself to exhaustion yesterday. I'm moving everything out of my motorhome and doing a deep cleaning and reorganization of my supplies, my personal items, my canning supplies and making sure I have no mice and spiders before winter comes. I'm getting ready to build my off grid water catchment and outdoor sink for washing off like root veggies and doing my laundry. I've been buying as much as I can afford to and have most of what I need except the leaf catcher and first flush system. Next week is our county fair and my grandkids are in the 4H horse club. So I'll be busy spending time watching them show. But I'll catch up on your videos and still watch a few old ones in the late night hours. Take care, Jeff.

I hppe you are taking care of yourself as best as you can while working so many hours. Your health is important too. But I know you still have bills to pay. It should all be over soon. Then the scary part will begin. I hope you are able to stock up uyour food supplies, get a few extra tanks of propane & some emergency water for you and water and extra feed for your chickens put back.
