Wow, y'all are getting hammered on internet prices. I am in rural Texas panhandle area and it's only around 50 for fiber optic now. I am still on a receiver relay to fiber optic but it's great for what I need and it's locally owned and operated. I am staying with them. Small town USA is dying out on us so I try and support where I can. ❤

For people who buy the FIXD scanner, DO NOT LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN ALL THE TIME. Only plug it in if your engine light comes on. If you don't drive that vehicle all the time, if the FIXD is left plugged in, it will run down your battery. I had to replace a new battery on my Lexus that I wasn't driving. That is a common problem.

Thanks for the update, looking forward to following your journey. I have made a couple of free grills, all I have, from old used truck rims. I dig out the grass and just put them down. I usually then fill in a small layer of sand or gravel...done! They are great I think, easy to move and I always use wood since my cabin is in the woods here in Sweden. I have over the years gotten a few "metal bars" to lay across for different sizes of pots and pans to put on. One of the grills have some blocks on the outside to be able to have stuff higher up if the fire to big. A cool summer here right now, at 8 o'clock 60 Fahrenheit, probably high 68 today. /Greetings from south Sweden

would the loaner car have the parts needed for that air intake parts required. I think a good hardy white chicken for this area would be a Sussex. The weekly dinners are a GREAT idea and we would love to visit at least once per month as yeah were not that close as some of the others...haha. When it comes to doing lives its just a do what you have too per YOUR schedule...shouldn't matter if its during the time of others. Can't make EVERYONE happy.

Wednesdays are stuffed full for lives with Our Mountain Home, Mama V, 3 Mississippi, Simple Life Reclaimed, ? 1870's Homestead, Old Man King Homestead. So that's from 4 p.m. thru 11 p.m. For safe canning, Suttons Daze is on Monday nights @ 7:30 p.m. I can't remember any others right now. Hope this helps a little bit when NOT TO SCHEDULE YOUR LIVES. Yes, you need your own P.O. Box and your home mailbox. It's so hard to get things done or services established without one. I prefer drive & chats to no video at all. That way it's helping your income even tho it's not much it's better than nothing and we see you and you can keep us updated as to how you are doing.

I enjoy listening to you talk. If I watch any live while it is live, it's just pure accident. I, too, like slow cookers. I have used one for many years. I never use my oven in the summer because it heats up the house. I have a deep convection oven that I could plug in on my deck if I really wanted to bake something. I've even baked in my large electric fry pan. With today's cooking gadgets, I really don't need a full-blown stove/oven. I rarely use more than one burner, and I pretty much use the oven for storage.😁 I am not a fan of propane grills either.

the dinner and a live sounds like a great idea Jeff and you could always get somebody to make you a grill out of a metal barrel and you can always burn twigs and have it a campfire meal that's what I've always done in the past (cause I don't really like the lighter fluid and charcoal taste from the grill ~ it messes with my stomach) 🤷‍♀️

Stomach issue is due to too much lighter fluid being used and not allowing the fluid to burn off before putting the food on the grill. You should never taste lighter fluid or tar from the charcoal.You can use wood instead of charcoal.

I just bought a new to me Toyota Salora. It's a 2006 model but all of a sudden the air quit blowing cold so I guess I'll have to get some freon for it. It has 241 thousand miles on it but they seem be able to go and go even with high miles. I don't drive much only to town and back a few times a month. I'm 77 years old so hopefully it will last me

Thanks I like the planning sessions even if it changes. A fruit orchard in front will eventually create some shade. OH and you are right the Outbacks are way better than the Forester. Recent research has shown that blue egg color in chickens is actually due to an ancient retrovirus that copied itself into the chicken's genome. It is a dominant gene, so if a blue egger mates with a white egger, the eggs will be blue. When Jeff mixes the blue egger with a brown egger which have varying amounts of brown on their shells, he gets green eggs. The brown is on the eggshell from the hen's blood as the egg is laid. That's why the inside of the shell is white. A fresh brown egg can have the brown scraped off with a fingernail. When it dries, you can't. Blue eggs are blue through and through their shells. (Scientists are testing the hypothesis that blue eggshells (unlike dark colors) both shield the interior from UV radiation and prevent the egg from heating up because other birds also lay blue eggs.) The blue egg colour in chickens originated in South America (but remember Jungle Fowls which are the originator of all the chickens came from Asia. Chickens were transported all over the world. Jeff wants to somehow breed a chicken that will produce green eggs without having to mix a blue egger with a brown egger.
