This song is a mess. Yes its fast, but the main riff is too repetetive. Mixing is godawful - vocals are way too loud and underpriduced, somehow. And to kill it completely, Ice-T is just talking some words, its not even rapping

Great song, my only criticism is the main riff, yeah it's fast but repetitive as fuck and it's just weak compared to the other parts, if the main riff wasn't just dow dow dow diggledy diggly diiggledydy dow dow dow the song would be up there with their best but that riff let's this tune down.

If you like metal pls consider reacting to Lovebites. They are phenomenal imo. All female Japanese J-metal band. Influenced by 80s thrash / power metal (Metallica, Maiden, Slayer, Priest, Megadeth, Anthrax, etc). Holy War (not Holy Wars lol) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJikqaN7paqWpNE enjoy.

They are doing 3 chapters to this story.. We'll Be Back is chapter 1 Night Stalkers is chapter 2 Soldier On! is chapter 3 (at least we believe its Soldier On!) So chapter 1 Vics wife and baby are murdered on command of some guy (Holy Wars reference).. Vic is a soldier (So Far So Good So What?! cover reference)... In his duties on patrol with his squad he comes across a merc outfit and they must fight with a dirty bomb (Rust in Peace reference). He takes it upon himself to get it as far away from people as possible.. Even having to fight for life a few minutes more to get it out as far as possible to sea.. He dies.. (Clock references two songs 44 minutes and 502). Chapter 2.. Vic passes though the Shadows of Deth.. The Dead are Thrashing in the water.. The devil picks Vic from the pool of the dead.. And via dark ritual brings forth staples to close his mouth.. Plugs drive themselves into his ears.. And a steel vision is riveted across his eyes... This flesh burns and tears away.. He becomes Vic Rattlehead.. All of this to this point is Megadeths song The Skull Beneath The Skin.. This is those lyrics in movie form.. We then get a very personal view of his wife and babies murder.. We see their eyes.. (Holy Wars reference) Vic reflects on his pain and loss.. Those responsible.. He drives a Ford Maverick (The Threat is Real and Dystopia music videos reference) we see him drive up to where those responsible are hiding out.. They shoot at his but it has no effect.. He is like a unstoppable beast.. (44 Minutes). They run from him... Vic again reflects upon his wife and child and him and his song in the car together.. He raises his arms to resemble the cross he hung above his sons crib to watch over him.. (The Skull Beneath The Skin reference there again towards the end of the songs lyrics his bones will make the holy cross).. Vic then dispatches the 3 of them.. Doing so with song references.. The first is burned (Burn!), the second shoots herself (Bullet To The Brain) and the final one is driven off the road (502).. There's probably a few more references I've missed but damn if it's not a masterpiece to string this many references into the details like this is fantastic.. Vic Rattlehead is the mascot.. And the songs can be related to him. So chapter 3 is going to tie this up into a neat bow... So in short the videos aren't about the songs themselves they stand seperate to the video.. And visa versa.. But the video has been designed to work in terms of cuts and impact around the song.. Which takes real skill to pull off. We've basically getting a Vic Rattlehead movie told across the 3 music videos..

There's woodwind as well as brass (sax is classed a woodwind instrument despite being made from brass), but it really does sound awesome on this track. Also, Sun Sugar is in the red trunks, Sun Tzu is in the blue! The video is pretty much beat-for-beat the exact same story told in the song.

Roy 'the voice of God' Khan. Was the vocalist of power metal band Kamelot (imo their best albums are recorded w him), had a burnout and is now back w his first band, prog band Conception. Ridiculously big range, clean vocals, and indescribable emotion transmitting while singing. Check him on Kamelot's live titled The coldest winter night, any song you choose won't be a miss. Talking about this song, this is a mix made by Arjen, on the album there'll be two versions, one completely by Khan and one by Tony. My personal pick is Khan, Tony is excellent, but Khan is one of my fave vocalists ever. Also, great reaction, tnx :)
