Blue Cheer live in Rockpalast 2008 A wonderful and harder version of Out of Focus from Blue Cheer's 1968 album "Vincebus Eruptum". One of my all-time favorites.

This is probably one of the best version of this song I have ever heard in my life... Brilliant. Excellent. Pioneers of hard and heavy metal

Best version of this song ever. Love the guitar work.

Yes it's great, but *nothing* can beat the original ending, where Leigh's guitar sounds like a rhino being fed alive through an industrial wood chipper! I've never heard such horror show, fucked-up guitar like that before or since; it was a once-in-a-lifetime take. Everybody go hear it here now.

Before there was Black Sabbath, before Led Zeppelin, before Iron Maiden there was The Blue Cheer. THE true pioneers of heavy rock. The original members here.

Fair enough, but remove Iron Maiden from this. Maiden is nowhere near as groundbreaking as the other 3 you mentioned. Iron Maiden is highly overrated.

About Blue Cheer. Couldn't give a toss about Maiden. Blue Cheer Hendrix and Cream are THE pioneers of hard rock

Actually, that's Andrew "Duck" MacDonald, not Leigh Stephens, on guitar. This is the only 'reunion' vid I can find on YT that includes the original members: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ2yZWqlbclsh7c

Could someone translate what Dickie meant when he said “he wrote many bones before this song”. Thanks
