so far this doesnt seem to work. both elwynn, westfall, and stormwind all look the same at night. in fact westfall is always so bright, i can almost never notice if its day or night...

I put up a video last year, nothing slamming the server, mild criticism of the community being toxic, and that selling items for real $ wasn't a good idea, I just saying i was leaving for a bit and planned to return, but my love will always be EQOA... The toxic fucks in the community trolled it for over a year. Reminding me of why i left. It's seriously one of the worst communities i've ever been a part of, and i hear it's not any better today. Glad i quit when i did, and no plans to return now. Fuck Turtle WoW.

Doesn't work.

I'm trying out roids-macros, and while it does some of the stuff i want, it really doesn't seem like i can make it do what i want in regards to #showtooltip. What i want is for the icon and mouseover tooltip to change in response to which stance i am in, like so: #showtooltip [stance:1] charge; [stance:2] intervene; intercept Which should show the appropriate tooltip for my current stance. Unfortunately, it only shows the icon i had to chose when i created the macro. I can't seem to create a new macro without chosing a new icon either. Other macros can manage to pull the CD of the chosen spell, and correctly display the CD on my bar, but i can't get a mouseover info box to show up, in case i want to check how much damage a Mortal strike ads on top of regular auto-attack damage. When i mouse over, i only get a chat message saying "unknown tooltip: 'mortal strike' Where can i find help with this kind of problem?

super macro and pfui showtooltip doesnt work as you'd expect them to. yes, they have options to read the macro and guess a skill for the tooltip from it, but no it will not work as you want it to; for example: /cast battle stance /cast charge in a macro with either of mentioned addons will always show battle stance as the tooltip and icon, whereas you'd want charge to be the tooltip and icon. cant speak for clever or roid.

Nice server, just far too much people: for a couple of f quests it takes ages because of all the people running the same quests, And for the 99% of the quests it's the same shi*. In a highly time consuming game, it take 4-5 time the time it should. Put your life in a corner, or don't play the game

not sure if it changed or what, but you can only place 1 storage box in your home\inn without plus. its considered special and can only place 1 in the house if you are free. so the 60 is max extra storage

I think the turtle wow server is great except for a few pitfalls. Random huge lag spikes, disconnect issues and occasionally not being able to zone into instances can make a HC run almost impossible. That being said it is a great server to play for free if you go for just the regular mode and want a vanilla + experience.

I like to keep the original wow interface but all i want is a raid frame for raids and bgs

As a PvP enjoyer, I appreciate the 30% bonus attached to the glyph. It makes for more targets out in the world to attack who just took the glyph for leveling speed and aren't particularly hard to kill. Makes it more like the PvP servers of old.

Are we all playing on the same server? Turtle wow is a buggy crap hole with the stupidest people you will ever meet. You can’t quest because of the thousands of mages and huntards farming. Can’t grp cause of all the HC characters that are gonna be dead in a couple lvls. Also the new content was created in about half an hour and the dungeons are big ugly rooms with groups of mobs plopped in randomly.

2023 Dragonflight era and this video is still relevant. These same problems are still occurring.

For me the mod stops working after a while, and I don't mean when the server switches to daytime. It's the middle of the night, I go into an inn, sell my stuff, go back outside and it's back to normal. Even weirder, "reinstalling" it only fixes it sometimes, other times it just flat out refuses to work for like a day or two.

Id rather have a pure vanilla server. The cross faction grouping is weird.

I got Supermacro and want to have Warriors: Charge as mouseover. Got 2 issues tho! 1. The button only works if my mouse is over the target, but not if i have it selected. 2. I don't know how to show the tooltips. As it doesn't show the tooltip as well as the cooldown etc.

I like this video because my first inclination was that of the ignorant child, disagreeing with you and claiming that "I DIDN'T ask for PvP! I just wanted the EXP boost and figured PvP would be rare because it's (kind of) a RP server!" Then I proceeded to get ganked regularly while leveling up to level 30. Haven't logged in for a bit for personal reasons, but I'm thinking the first thing I'll do is head back to my starting zone and ditch the Glyph of War when I return because you're absolutely right. While I enjoy the leveling process and the EXP boost to cut down on the time it takes, I abhor being camped and unable to play at all. Time to really embrace that Vanilla grind! Thank you for the insight and sharing your opinions. :)

How do I install "VanillaFixes"? Move the folder to the AddOns folder just like with the other addons? But I don't see it on the list then :(
