The aluminum parts are Dorman 926-111 Door Latch Cable Repair Kit sold at Auto Zone. $13.99. Comes with four in a bag but one is specially built for a certain spot on the latch. You will see it looks squarish verse round. Make sure when taking apart you see which one it replaces on the latch. I do like the tie wire idea but if the plastic ends are they need replaced.

Thanks for the video bill. It's unfortunate how the tools on newer bikes are inadequate now. My Z400 didn't have the 24mm in the toolkit and when I watched a video of the ZX-4RR's toolkit it was *literally just a single Allen Wrench and a Philips Screw Driver*. It's just so sad

My concerns with my first oil change were on how to level the bike properly while checking the level and that my bike seemed to take more significantly more oil than in the manual(about the same yours did). Another concern was the lowering link the previous owner installed but it seems you have one too. From one airforce to another, thank you Bill.

That's not a sheet metal screw. That's the correct screw. The 4.6's with the aluminum intake plenum uses actual bolts that thread into the aluminum. The OEM ford intakes have brass inserts that are pressed into the intake manifold with actual bolts just like the 4.6's. That is an aftermarket intake on your truck Edit: I know this is an old video

Remove the sight by drifting out the 2 wedges at the base and install a peep site. Problem solved. That gap will disappear and there is still more than enough material holding it together. Don’t install the type of scope mount that applies pressure the same way as the sight.

I would not do anything with it because I’m 12 and my grandma and grandpa just got me one from Baker air guns and they will also fix air rifles and do a real good job

DON'T HEAT IT UP! To fix that requires a total disassembly, or you will ruin the seals inside the gun. I'd leave it as-is and mount a scope to the receiver/breach part of the gun. But either way definitely remove the ear sight! I'd go with a peep if I were you!

I have a '99 and had to do both back doors. Yes, it's a pain. No, it's not really easy ( not hard, just a aggravation). Yes, if I did it you can too. Saving near $400.00 by doing it myself... now that's real good.( and worth every minute it took! )

No. 7 is probablythe worst. No. 8 is simply a matter of having a good selection of 1/4" extensions. I also needed a socket that has a spring to hold the 7mm screw on, but a bit of tape would work, too.

Just add rotating the tire as you do so, to see if sproket mount bushings worn, if rotating tire while measuring out of range then tight while roting fully ....🏁🍾🔧🏍️...😎

With thesee Ford's you have to replace most sensors on the intake throtlebody, including the egr valve, personally ive replaced all sensors,fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator and maf sensor along with all vacuum lines, problem solved.

I have the 4.6, the issue I have is a very low idle once the engine is warm. Feels like it is about to stall, but then revs up again. Already replaced IAC, and TPS sensor. Also cleaned out the throttle body. Any ideas?
@skyartrc8286
@skyartrc8286 4 жыл бұрын
It could also be your egr valve, pressure feed back sensor and or replace your fuel injectors and fuel preasure regulator, most likely the EGR valve they go out or get stuck shut or open.
