Can this Reload .300 PRC?

Understood regarding the weight of the door versus the rest of the safe, but this is pretty obvious and expected considering the internal mechanism, locking lugs etc. This applies to ALL safes. It is also a profoundly dumb idea to ever NOT bolt the safe down as it was made to be done, otherwise you could just cart it off to break into elsewhere. Temporary set up for apartment is a real issue many will have to deal with to be sure. The key pad were illuminated it would burn the battery down far faster and give away it's location. You can feel the numbers and know where you are on the pad. The whole point is to not give away where you are and your access to the safe, you should know where you are in your own house. I was trying not to be critical but thinking you sounded pretty ignorant to general reality, then you said you were in California and it all made sense.

If your Lee dies are adjusted off a Lee Turret press and you want to be portable by taking your Lee Hand Press out; do you have to readjust all the dies again to use on their Hand Press?

Best how to video I have seen so far, on how to use the Lee Hand Press to reload. All of the others I have seen have been uploaded by idiots who try to describe their review videos as complete 'how-to' videos, but these guys have already done several of the necessary steps off camera and then skip ahead to show the finished product. This really does aggravate me more than I can find words to describe. I would like to see more step by step, leaving out NO steps, of reviews and how to videos for more commonly used calibers like 9mm, .38 Special and .357 magnum for this Lee Breech Hand Press, though.

i can see why you prefer to load the powder into the case separate from the hand press. If you have to set the handpress down with a case in it loaded with powder and no bullet, the powder may fall out, no? It would be great if Lee made a stand or base for the hand press for this reason....with one hand you have to hold the press upright, while using your other hand to prepare the press for seating a bullet into the charged case.

When you bell the casing to accept the bullet, is that also "resizing" the casing? And when would you use the included lubricant? is it less neccesary to use lubricant with carbide dies? Do you ever measure the casing length and trim accordingly, or just measure the casing with the bullet seated?

Lee sells die sets with 3 or 4 dies in them. I think what's not included with the 3 die set is a factory crimp die? Is that correct?

What do you think of the revolver ? Reliable? Would you fight with it or just a show piece ?

I think I'll try the Glock 34 Gen 3 here in CA. I didn't like the Glock 19 Gen 3 because of the discomfort it gave my middle finger between the finger groove and trigger guard. Hopefully, I won't have the same problem with the G34. If it works out for me, I will rapid fire it so fast, it'll almost be like a Glock 18. 😉

Just wondered, is that mini still working well after 3 years? I just ordered one but I already have a TLR-1HL, and the only thing is, I tried to mount the TLR1 to the back of the rail, after a range time, the recoil basically scratched the hell outta my light lol

These have been marketed by "Lee" for decades. I know if lots of shooters who take them right out to the shooting range when "working up" a load for their "New" rifle. Though some Club Ranges will have a shed or "Hut" equipped with a bench mounted reloading press as well as a few other essentials, most do not. So you've got to bring your own gear to the range. For just doing a few loads. Say, maybe, a box full of 20 rounds of rifle ammo, these are perfectly fine.

Hold the press vertically when trying to get a case to enter a die. Shellholder's are a little sloppy so the case will lean if the press isn't vertical. Bell the mouth JUST enough to admit the bullet. Excessive belling makes it difficult for the case to enter the seating die.

What other "must haves" will I need to get into reloading with this hand press? Obviously, the die set for the caliber of my choosing (6mm ARC). What else? Scale, any other measurement tools? Am I better off with Lee's sub $300 reloading kit?

Instead of unscrewing the name plate for the key hole, you could have just used magnets to attach it on. Better idea, free idea, please use it.

If it’s the breech lock set up why not buy 4 bushing so you don’t have to keep unscrewing the die

Just picked one of these up on Black Friday. Funny thing is the prices a year ago were cheaper than this years black friday sales. Inflation sucks. This is a temporary fix to a need to lock guns up now. Long term this will become an ammo/accessory cabinet and I'll pick up a Ft. Knox safe. Moving in the next year and don't feel like figuring out how to move a Ft. Knox safe lol

The reason why it wobbles is because you missed the top louver of the barrel rest. There are two, the lower and upper and there are corresponding slots on the rest. That’s also why that screw isn’t doing anything.

I bought one for my first press... but I ended up buying separate Priming Tool it makes a difference! I load 45-70 Gov't and the Measuring kit also makes a difference...

Im a fairly new gun owner, and obtaining a CCW was very far fetched for me until i saw your video. It sounds like its very straight forward and simple if you have everything in order. I have a couple question i hope you can answer. 1. When you obtain a CCW is it only eligible for 1 specific gun? 2. How long is the CCW Permit Instruction class and is it hard for some one thats fairly new to firearms as myself? 3. This video is a year old, is it any different now? July 2022

I can't believe the price they're selling this for. They've essentially thrown a heavier door on an industrial storage cabinet. I don't doubt the merit / justification for a lighter weight storage option, but not at 2-3+ times the cost of a low end / budget safe.

I have 3 firearms also , a rifle and two handguns and i dont know whether to choose this model or the 40😫, i plan to storage ammo but thats about it , any advice??
