I have an Agile 52 with 2 cradles installed. I had to loosen the screws first in order to push the cradles down fully into place. Completely tightening the screws after that allows the bungees to be used without the cradles lifting up.

Ya I tried that. I messed with it so much and it still lifts up. Maybe my model has some defect or something. I’ll try messing with it again. I’ll be making an updated video to this one showing how I ended up setting up the safe. Be sure to keep an eye out for it

Agreed, I own 4 Secure It cabinets and never had an issue. You need to tighten the screw in a little further than you might think.

@@lomberetactical1844 You didn't hook it up right. I had the same problem with it coming off as soon as I pulled on that bungee. You have to slide it in so both (there's) two slide ons in the back you only have the bottom on on and so it will come off. You put it in right it is solid. Took me a bit to figure it out

The reason why it wobbles is because you missed the top louver of the barrel rest. There are two, the lower and upper and there are corresponding slots on the rest. That’s also why that screw isn’t doing anything.

I came here to say this. The cradles are actually very secure. Enough so that I don't even use the screws.

I can't believe the price they're selling this for. They've essentially thrown a heavier door on an industrial storage cabinet. I don't doubt the merit / justification for a lighter weight storage option, but not at 2-3+ times the cost of a low end / budget safe.

Yeah your paying for the storage solutions inside. The cabinet itself is no more secure than an IKEA filing cabinet. It will keep young children out but even a smash and grab would open that in less than a minute.

Great review! That safe looks nice. Great idea on bolting against the wall like how you've done. I recently picked up a Winchester 12-gun safe from Tractor Supply in Norco, CA 2 weeks ago. It does the job for me. Anyways, I'm looking forward to more videos. Cheers.

Just picked one of these up on Black Friday. Funny thing is the prices a year ago were cheaper than this years black friday sales. Inflation sucks. This is a temporary fix to a need to lock guns up now. Long term this will become an ammo/accessory cabinet and I'll pick up a Ft. Knox safe. Moving in the next year and don't feel like figuring out how to move a Ft. Knox safe lol

Thank you for the review. I have the Answer and I haven't found the cradle is loose on mine, I'll go check again. My gripe is that I bought the base model and should have spent $75 more for the middle model which has way more accessories included. Mine came in at under 300# and was able to get it into my basement with one friend. Now bolted to the floor, it's not going anywhere. I'm happy with the bui9ld quality, though it is tough to move the lever to lock. Wonder if the bolts can be lubed?

are there bolts on the hinge side of the door? If not, a battery dremel would easily slice that hinge and let you slip the door off I think

If it's a 9-volt battery, having the keypad illuminated would dominate that battery ruthlessly. The load of you opening it occasionally is nowhere near in the same ballpark as keeping a light on, even an led imo

Nice review. I think it's a stretch however to call anything this lightweight a safe. It's really a gun cabinet, with an awesome organizing system. Something like this should be installed in a hidden location, since it won't withstand more than a few minutes' burglar attack with hand tools. Fine for keeping kids and nosy guests out.

true but the selling point for this cabinet is that it takes the same amount of time to cut into it as it does a regular gun safe. But yes, when my new home that I am purchasing, this will be installed in a gun room and will be much more secure.

@@lomberetactical1844 I’ve been looking at multiple safes on Amazon and other places including secure it, stack on, etc. and it seem that a lot of them are actually the same quality. I was looking at one of those “generic” ones on Amazon With same measurements as this one and a 14 gauge thickness. This safe has an 18 gauge thickness which makes it thinner. I do like the customization and assemble/ disassemble on the shred it but I definitely think it’s a little high for what you get and the accessories are priced ridiculous but hey they gotta keep that money coming in.

California is one of the worst states to be a gun owner in. We have the most restrictive laws and don’t have access to the same firearms the rest of the country has access to. It’s complete BS

It is very easy to accidentally run afoul of the law and unknowingly commit a felony. For example, putting a flash hider, or any muzzle device that reduces flash even the slightest amount, on certain semi automatic rifles, or ordering a threaded pistol barrel online. Or even lesser “crimes” like handing your buddy 20 rounds of target ammo at the range to take home. Unfortunately, folks like myself have to be college educated to stay abreast of these confusing and convoluted laws, which makes these laws disproportionately affect poorer, under educated and underserved communities.

More relevant to this video, there is a safe storage law in CA requiring firearms to be secured when not in use. Several other less restrictive states also have safe storage laws even if they have less restrictive gun laws.

No it’s not. But from my understanding, if a home ever catches on fire and u have to evacuate, the guns will rarely survive even if in a fireproof safe. So from my point of view, it doesn’t make too much sense to pay for a fire rated safe.

First it's not a safe at all, it's a gun locker and a wildly overpriced one at that. If they charged half of what they currently cost and marketed it as an organized locker it would be a decent cheap option if you don't car about security beyond just keeping kids and honest people out.

If you have AR or AK’s with side or 45 degree offset mounted weapon lights you will not be able to fit 6 guns in this cabinet. You can get by with maybe one tactical rifle with a weapon light if placed on the end of the row. I have several tactical rifles with sure fire weapon lights mounted on a 45 degree off set rail. The cabinet really needs to be 3 inches wider.

Understood regarding the weight of the door versus the rest of the safe, but this is pretty obvious and expected considering the internal mechanism, locking lugs etc. This applies to ALL safes. It is also a profoundly dumb idea to ever NOT bolt the safe down as it was made to be done, otherwise you could just cart it off to break into elsewhere. Temporary set up for apartment is a real issue many will have to deal with to be sure. The key pad were illuminated it would burn the battery down far faster and give away it's location. You can feel the numbers and know where you are on the pad. The whole point is to not give away where you are and your access to the safe, you should know where you are in your own house. I was trying not to be critical but thinking you sounded pretty ignorant to general reality, then you said you were in California and it all made sense.
