I really like the flavor profile of Indian mangos and the best way to describe the taste is complex with sweet spice tones. I purchased a box of Alphonso mangos from an Indian grocery store in Chandler but it was disappointing since most of the fruit were bruised and I think they were picked too early. I've tried others such as Bombay, Super Julie, Kesar and Angie. Bombay was my favorite.

Wow, that white sapote tree is loaded! I loved the colour inside that fruit too! I managed to try some white sapotes this year for the first time from someone who brought them back from their trip to Greece. Nice to see the fruit ripening on it. I planted a yellow one (sometimes called lemon guava or yellow cherry guava) in the ground here in the UK (zone 9a). It's definitely a borderline plant in my location though. I will likely have to give it a little bit of protection on the coldest nights below -3°C (usually not too many nights). They are real figs but all those tropical figs (there are many species not just this one) taste nothing like the common fig - they all are really bland at best and most are straight-up disgusting full of hard seeds sometimes they are full of wasps. If you want something somewhat decent tasting try Elephant ear fig (Ficus auriculata) some cultivars are good and taste like apple sauce with a hint of honey. Some Clown figs (Ficus aspera) (definitely not the ornamental type) can taste OK-ish as well.
