That alone is a reason she has so much strength to win. Also cover girl has a huge say in choosing the winner. They wanted Cari dee to represent them

I'm glad Melrose didn't win this show purely because she avoided the ANTM label, but in terms of whether she deserved to win, she definitely did. She was so mature and focused, and with a nice personality as well. A kind of person you would want as a friend. People don't understand how hard it is to keep a strong mental when you are surrounded with girls who literally hate your guts because you keep on performing well challenge after challenge, photoshoot after photoshoot. Everyone hated her, but she didn't let it get to her. What a role model. Melrose rocked it. Love her! <3

They had to choose Cari-dee because of the Covergirl contract...... I think both girls did a great job.... but to me Merose was the best....glad that she did have a modeling career after ANTM....

Caridee has more of a commercial look and was probably more marketable, but I loved Melrose! This was my favorite cycle.

I think they didn't choose Melrose despite her dominating the whole entire competition because she didn't have that "young" look that they were looking for.

The judges changed their critique of Caridee and the bull picture. The week of the photoshoot, they didn't really like it. They said it wasn't a good photo. But here in the final judging, they're like omg it's such a great picture. Lol

It was interesting to have Mr Jay be on the final judging panel because he usually isn’t. I wonder if he relayed back to Tyra how much of a big deal Melrose made about that dress incident. It may have brought back memories of the first photoshoot with her acting like a diva with him and Tyra warning her not to do it again. I often wonder if the judging outcome would have been different had he not been on the panel.

I never liked Caridee and I thought her photos and runway walk were lackluster. Melrose deserved to win. She was robbed.

I didn't watch the entire cycle 7 but I think Melrose should have won. They have both nailed it but I think Melrose is a little bit better than Caridee.

Caridee and Yoanna House (Season 2) were the best out of all of the winners.

I rather Melrose. Not only was she slamming on pics and on the runway … she also has the knowledge and background of the industry.

Caridee's cover girl photo is so strong one of the best cover girl photos, i love her even up to these days.
