I’m a bit confused. I’ve been doing this technique for quite a while now. Never called it velvet glass. I put jellies over it sometimes too. It’s really not big deal and doesn’t require much time or any sort of expertise, it just applying polish, nothing artistic.

So very pretty. I've been doing nails for 40yrs and just now getting into these magnetic polishes n the chromes. This is so elegant. Very classy

You need a lot more white lol. The nude was way too pigmented to be natural. Real nails are barely off white unless they're dirty or stained 😂 You can also add a smidge of clear to the mix to make the off-white more milky and translucent since real nails are seldom perfectly opaque. Good 1st try though 👍😊
