@SarahsNailSecrets I understand. Losing a beloved pet is extremely difficult. They were a large part of your life. I wish I could hug you, it's so hard and the pain lessens but it never goes away. I lost my Chai. She was 11 weeks old. She was exposed to Parvo and we had no idea. We watched her pass, she took her last little puppy breath in my arms at the vet. There was nothing we could do. That was in 2020. I still cry thinking about her. I hope you know we're here. To lift and support you and offer comforting words. Your nail community loves you lady❤️❤️😁

Unless one has had that deep connection with a pet some people just don’t get it. I however totally get it, it’s grief, it is a mixture of deep emotions and that just doesn’t come along with losing a human, we can feel it through the loss of pet/s too. If anyone truly understands & knows what ur going thru, I do. I had 2 very beautiful doggies as well, my beautiful girl Angel, Silky Terrier went, on 23rd June 2023 & Im still crying over her loss, she was my everything, she lived 11 yrs. The boy, Gizmo passed 3 yrs prior to her, he lived 12 yrs 3 months. Had them cremated, still have their ashes. So my heart fully goes out to you, Sarah & its different for everyone but for me im struggling to find joy & happiness again & the pain of not having them around me just doesnt wanna go away.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I’m trying my hardest to not be miserable since my son is only 2.5 so I’m trying to do things to spark joy. Started cooking, listening to audio books, re decorating my house, looking for thrift decor finds and working out helps ❤ I also got another Pom, adopted him 1 year old I’ll introduce him next vlog I hope you can find something to spark joy again our Pets are magical, they wouldn’t want us to be miserable. Oh my, I'm so sorry for your loss😢. It's hard, believe me I lost 6 over the years and my last one is 15, I'm not looking forward to his end. The best advice i can give you is, get another pet. When we had to put down our cat and my son was three, I asked all my cousins what to do. Do we get one another fast, do we wait and go through grieving and healing etc. All said, when they were kids, parents got another and within days or most, a few weeks. I asked my aunts and uncles too, who said the same thing. That my grandmother did the same thing, got them another pet, asap. They all said it helped, the grieving wasn't as hard and it helped with the healing. Now as an adult my advice is to get another pet, when the 1st gets old, before it passes, this way your not grieving and trying to find a pet you like. So if you have a little dog, I always suggest around 12, you get another. This way, when the old one passes, you still have a 3 year old pet, to help you get over the 1st one. You can continuously keep this pattern going. There are the rare cases where you lose multiple pets close together. My aunt lost 5 German shepherds in a year - no one could have predicted that... As devastated as she was, she had a new puppy within 4 months (she had to wait for it to be born), and is so happy with her new puppy. Said the same thing, that the new puppy got her out of her depression and out of bed. You'll never forget or stop loving those who passed. .. This just helps you with going on. A reason to get out of bed and shower.. lol One could see how hard your taking this, and you have every right too. .. But, I think it will help you and your family to have a new pet to love. You guys have a hole in your heart that needs to be filled. Doesn't have to be a puppy, could be time to have a kitty or a bunny.. I'd stay with something fluffy, but some do find scales adorable, so... Just looking for something new, will brighten the house .. Good luck 😊

For me I always say when I find the right dog (pet) I would never turn them away. I I ended up finding and adopting the perfect white Pomeranian, who is 1 year old I’ll introduce him in the next video He helps me smile again, he reminds me of Halo a lot and it’s comforting. It doesn’t replace them, loosing two dogs close together was was painful as one can imagine. but it helps A lot more then I expected. Having another to walk, and feet, teach tricks, snuggle and cry with when missing my dogs. So I agree, getting another helps. Don’t rush it and find the right one for your family ❤️

Sarah although we aren’t personally friends but my heart goes out to you, Losing a fur baby is so hard but to lose two so close is a punch in the gut. On a personal note right after my Dad died , within months my beloved lab, who was my everything, Noble died. I was inconsolable. Nothing replaces or fixes the loss except in time you will be able to think of them fondly without the tears. Pictures of them will hurt less and that pain slowly turns to beautiful memories.
