The propellers on a crashed plane are usually bent inwards as they are commonly constructed out of a malleable metal. Also, planes are incredibly heavy meaning instead of creating small skid marks, ww2 plane crash sites look more like low velocity meteor impacts where the plane has created a shallow dent along the earth, void of any grass pushing away any soil from the movement path of the planes body. Otherwise great model!

I am keen to see more progress on your SDR model, i was fortunate to accompany my mum who has dementia on a 'memory train' on the SDR a couple of days ago, it was great for my mum and myself as we had not been on it since i was a kid in the 80s , it cost only a couple of pounds each and i was pleasantly reminded of how beautiful that line is. I am inspired to create a slice of Devon in miniature as i fear this wonderful place is changing too fast and fear we may loose much of it. I am hopeful to adopt some of your techniques in creating my vision. It will be a far cry from the ww1 battlefields i usually make.

Hi Laurence. Firstly, thank you for supporting the channel. I created this video to give a summary of what the channel is really about as I feel I have moved away from it recently due to product reviews. I completely understand your frustration and it’s a fair point. I won’t bore you with all the reasons but a very busy job and family life are my priority and it doesn’t leave a huge amount of time for model making.
