The weather is fantastic - why not just fly manual visual approach to save time and fuel and practice maneuvering skills? I can't understand what's the fun in staring at the screen while doing 20 nm instrument approaches with autopilot to such beautiful places with great visual weather.

Thanks. Yes for many non precision approaches, pilots will switch off FD to avoid confusion as it will not follow the manual path.

Kudos to your flying skills! I did try it many times with the VOR DME approach, but couldn't make it. In real life, we sometimes landed there with a B737, using that approach as well, so I know it IS possible. ;)

I watched again the video, and I assume this is a bit old know. After many updates the game received, this is way better now. World updates, aircrafts updates, new aircrafts like Fenix etc, this is really close to a sim. Just missing the feeling to be inside the plane. As a glider pilot I miss that feeling.

@@Inguemar i mean you play it as arcade game you should not touch down in the middle or runway. Make Go around next time. And it will add more realism to that.

@@SKPkickboxBB Was a little bit after touchdown zone, but way before the middle of the runway. Taxiway before which I landed, is not at the middle if you look charts.

You know me, mountains and crazy approaches are part of my destinations checklist 😁 I have some already prepared but need some liveries. Today got the Sky Express 72-600 and also very hard to get scenery in Greece. I let you guess until I put the video. Beautiful landscape but the visual approach is not so difficult. Sloped runway also.

I look for an identical frequency anywhere else and look for it in the database. Then copy paste 😉

After landing, in order to prepare shootdown at gates you can start APU, then when shooting down engines you will still have power in the plane.

Nothing, I use in game ATC. Just need to configure the flight properly and it will cooperate most of the time 😉

How come 4K videos look better than 1080p videos, even when watching in 1080p?

4k is a better resolution and has more pixels in the same area. But while looking in 1080p I think this could be due to other video parameters (rate or something)

With at least flaps 2 or maybe flaps 3 I can but with only few passengers to get enough fuel to join Ushuaia. By the way landing there in real life should have broken the plane as many little stones would have enter both engines.

For landings always try to pull up the nose (flare / roundout) in the end. That makes your landings smoother!

Hey! Thanks for your advice, I usually try to get my nose up and was 5 degrees up as you can see on the PFD. I think I should be around 7.5 mark or maybe 10 ? Each time I try to be around 10 I touchdown very late. My landings were better with A32NX and I have to fly more the Fenix to get used to its more realistic flight model. Maybe I should go idle earlier in order to lose more speed but I like to ear the "retard" sound ;-D

Hi thanks for your comment. My dad was an A320 pilot and I learnt a lot from him, also from simmers groups because many new features are new since my dad retired (RNAV approaches and VNAV). I also have glider pilot license and basic license (half way to pirivate pilot license in France).

@@jawadbabar1 Today middle end systems can handle MSFS (1660Ti) but the higher the better. I run 2080Ti with i9-9940x processor and even in full ultra I sometimes get stutters. For yokes etc depends on what plane you want to fly but Thrustmaster got a wide range of quality products. As I mostly fly Airbus, I use the TCA Airbus and it's a great product.

Salut ! Pour le sens de rotation il est indiqué sur la carte par les flèches, qui montrent qu'on prend le circuit en faisant des virages droite. Pour le temps/distance des fois c'est indiqué, sinon je prends ce qui est par défaut comme ici.

Auriez vous la patience et surtout le temps d'y répondre ? - sans doute la plus importante, je n'arrive pas à avoir les flèches haute et basse pour valider sur les potentiomètres de vitesse ou d'altitude pour laisser gérer l'AP (faire apparaître le point lumineux), je suis obligé de m'escrimer avec un clic gauche maintenu plus appui sur la molette de la souris... pas pratique. Auriez vous une idée ?? - comment faites vous pour avoir des livrées différentes sur les AUTRES avions ? (avions qui vous entourent dans un aéroport par exemple) - et enfin, comment avoir le son de l'hydraulique ? (pourtant j'utilise bien le A32NX) par avance je vous remercie !! et bon vol

Bonjour, pas de soucis! - 1ere question, je vais d'abord vous demander si lorsque vous passez votre souris devant les différents boutons avez-vous une couleur bleue? Si oui il s'agit dans les options de changer le mode de la souris dans les options. 2eme question : c'est un mode que j'ai développé moi-même en modifiant la librairie MTL d'Ivao. Il existe un mode identique plus générique sur flightsim.to 3e question : j'utilise la version expérimentale, peut-être que ces sons ne sont pas pareils si vous utilisez la version stable ou peut-être développement.

@@yanngarvanese5313 pour revenir sur la question 1, du coup c'est bizarre, il faut y aller tout doucement et sur certains boutons c'est difficile. Si jamais la sensibilité de votre souris est trop élevée le. curseur va se déplacer trop vite. Il faut se déplacer doucement. Si au final il n'y a toujours rien je crains à un bug. j'ai quelques bugs dans les menus de MSFS que d'autres n'ont pas (texte qui s'efface bizarrement, ou impossibilité de saisir certains chiffres des fois). Dans les avions j'ai pour l'instant pas mal de chance.

@@yanngarvanese5313 C'est un peu tard, mais va dans les paramètres généraux, accessibilité, mode d'interaction avec le cockpit, met le mode sur "histoire" (legacy). Voila comment tu peux avoir les flèches
