Came back to Equator to perform this challenging approach in Cuenca (Equator) Mariscal La Mar airport SECU. There is only one approach runway 6, circling over the city bordered by mountains. The airport scenery from flightsim.to is also a beautiful one that adds a lot of realism here.
Don't forget to comment with your suggestion for any beautiful or impressive category C or D approach over the world. Some CAT B can be done I can consider it according on runway length etc. Then, I will try to do it and post the video on this channel !

Yes I think you recommended this airport to me long time ago. Then I waited a scenery to be available and here is the result. Thanks man ;-)

I am in tears after watching this awesome video! Ive been trying to figure out how to land this approach, but ever since msfs came out I have not been able to. Every approach I try gets messed up. Is it because of the Navigraph data? Also how do you get those "minimum" callouts to work at 12:40? I also have the A32NX Developers mod... Thanks again!! Greetings from Cuenca EC..

Hi WookieeFer, your com is really appreciated and I am happy that you enjoyed the approach I made at your city airport. I am not sure that this is a Navigraph matter. If the flight path is normal on ND the aircraft should follow it. The first part is to be able to follow altitude constraints. If you're too high, you will need to be at the highest speed available for your flaps status. If not enough you can use speed brake as for some approaches this is just impossible to do without it. As soon as altitude and speeds are well managed, just engage the final 2.9 descent and switch off AP in front of the runway. Note that gear down will help you to slow down or have better descent. For the minimum you have to set the Minimum Decision Altitude (8900 for this approach) in the approach PERF page in the FMS (watch at 2:00 in Baro field). Have a good flight
